I too took the chance of getting one of those embezzled companies; this one is interesting because it has lot of money worth done in automotive research and shops/factories/land

more than the 788M debt it has

it's very short of cash, and there lies the problem: how can you bring it back with no money at all?

I'll liquidate some asset, keep the largest of each factory/Rd/shop, and try moving moneys from imports

question: would it be better to sell the smaller building to keep the most efficient ones, or to  sell the larger building to keep the ones that costs less?

I've three car factories (110,210,310), three car dealers(310,628,628) and two research (150,310)

I was thinking about keeping just the largest factory and store, and the smallest RD.

opinions?

It doesn't really matter to me and if you are looking to help Bay12 people you should buy Gaga's stock instead as he kept more of his stock and I only kept 51% of mine so if there is any gain in the stock i gain nothing for now. Since I'm not going to sell my share in the company below 51% as that would open me up to a hostile take over. whereas Azkul kept like 71% so if his stock goes up he can sell it and make more money. Smarter long term decision but I needed the money now to expand the size of Strawberry Banana Smoothie production as well as Espresso and Capiciono production, my primary products.

After I reap the benefits of expanded production I plan to buy back stock, by transfering money from the company to me, in order to benefit from the gains in production.

I'm probably not going to go public or diddle around with the stock market. The whole thought of some douche becoming the CEO of my own company scares me. Besides, I don't understand the stock market well enough in this game and the only thing I know about the stock market in real life is that according to researchers it's the most accurate predictor of whether or not a president will get re-elected.

Also, is having my factories produce four hours worth of goods a good thing to do, or should I have it set up so that it builds a certain amount at a time? I'm currently having my factories produce goods in four hour shifts until I get ready for bed. Once I get ready for bed, I set up the factories to produce goods for anywhere between eight to ten hours, so that by the time I wake up I can start another four hour shift and sell of some of what I have produced overnight.

I've been doing that same thing, it's generally a good idea but if you really want to micromanage you can adjust the amount you're producing to cut back on certain componants.
For instance, when i make gasolene i'll get a certain amount per barrell of petroleum, I can micromanage to get the maximum per barrell by reducing production untill the quantity of barrells just goes down by one.
It's not really worth doing except when you're first starting and need to get the most out of what you've got.

I tend to do 24 hour shifts, so I have one period of high intensity activity and then after that period a loner period of low intensity activity where I start expanding factories, farms, stores, or RnD after people have bought htings on B2B.

Also you can make sure no one is able to takeover your company by keeping the percentage of shares you own of the company >50%. that way no one could have more shares than you do.

I figured that micromanagement was an option, though like you said it doesn't sound like something I need to do right now. I'm still kind of starting out and just trying to make ends meet in this game.

I tend to do 24 hour shifts, so I have one period of high intensity activity and then after that period a loner period of low intensity activity where I start expanding factories, farms, stores, or RnD after people have bought htings on B2B.

I've considered the whole bit with having my factories do twenty-four hour shifts, but often times I don't have enough raw materials to do that sort of thing. Plus, I like checking in on my company multiple times a day since I have nothing else better to do. However, I probably could consider that sometime. If I'm going to be too busy to check up on my company the next day then the day before I could have my factories run on a twenty-four hour shift, raw materials permitting.

As for the whole bit with the shares, I know I could buy up most of the shares, but what is the point of having shares if I can't sell them? I'd rather just avoid the stock market entirely since I don't even understand it beyond "buy low, sell high". I mean, it's not required to go public, right?

The main point is to raise capital to further expand the business. If you already have money, there isn't any point in going public.

Normally, I just set my factories to produce the maximum they can, and cancel when I feel like selling thing. Sure, you waste a little stock, but it's better than not being able to log on in those 4 hours and missing a bit of productivity.
