I've searched a bit, and can't find a thread like this, so here it is.

Post your failures of all sorts (deaths can count, but we do have a thread for that). If you goofed something simple, either through your own stupidity and incompetence, or because the RNG hates you, this is the place for it. Please include the game name in your post.

Snakeman right next to the bottom of the ramp, facing away. It took the full TU allotment of five agents to get a single hit on it.

Pikmin 2: I forgot that Decorated Cannon Beetles shoot homing boulders, and about fifty blue pikmin got crushed before I managed to get them out of the way.

I scaled nine levels of Item World on Disgaea only to get my butt handed to me on level 10 thus losing all my progress.

I also forgot to use my one Gency Exit.

I was sort of wondering that, because it seemed incredibly familiar, but all of my searches turned up nothing, and there's no way we could have gone all this time without someone making one. Oh well.

Played about an hour and a half of Final Fantasy Tactics, replayed the same battle three times (one fail, one win but I lost a character I didn't want to lose, and one relatively easy win), then purposely got in a random battle to do some grinding and lost. The fail is that I think I forgot to save after finally winning the first battle, but at this point I don't even really want to know.

Edit: also I think there was a thread like this this got locked, maybe? I don't know why or if I'm even thinking of the right thread though.

Not my fail, but my friends. We were playing UFO: The Two Sides, he was humans and I was the aliens. He sends his troop transport thing to my small scout. Eight people file out, but to his surprise, only one has a gun and no ammo. So my lone sectoid walks into their shuttle and guns them down.

Touhou. Just managed to clear a particularly tricky spellcard, dashed up to collect powerups, and smacked directly into the boss. Not the most dignified way to die.

Also on topic:Attempt to jump across what looks like a short gap with two speed buffs on me in an attempt to get across the currently unopened bridges to plant a bomb... and miss by mere inches, falling to my death. After seeing someone do this moments before.
