Let's take a departure.  Installed by CIA, capitalist businessman.

Let's get that swiss bank account filled!

agreed. We shall now do the filthy capitalist before returning to the pure, great communism.

We can do a new president with the same map?  Is that even an allowable thing in Tropico?  In that case, hell yes.  CIA installation, maybe Booze Baron or the like to get factory production started and make use of all that sugar we've got.  Let's make us some money!

No, it's not, but that's why this is called Island Hopping edtion (tm), at the end of each presidentes reign there is a contrived reason to hop to a diffrent island...  :P

Also, I find it funny to have people saying, "lets go for a capitilist!" Because I planned to have a guy come into office with a silver spoon background, bought the vote, the flaws alcholic and the schmolley (or something, the guy who thinks he's smooth but just makes things worse) and NO positive traits... So your votes don't matte!  ;D

I've never heard of this game before, but the first island was quite amusing. Keep it up, I for one am watching.

Hola mi Tropicans!

Although El Presidente has retired to the life of a simple farmer on Tropico, the show must go on, as the Yanqui say.
So, on a voting platform of Más dinero para todo el mundo, he won in a landslide vote of 70 to 1. Indeed, quite an accomplishment.
The first action of Senor Presidente was a colonization movement onto the nearby unhinhabited island of Tropico Prime!

Of course, some of the less informed Tropicans might not know who Senor Presidente is.

Los idiotas! ¿me equivoco? Now that the estúpido people among us are up to speed, let us look at the island, no?

Well cojones, what to do?

Edit: How can I improve this thread? More spanish, more story telling, less of either or both? Please, post your ideas for improving this thread!

I like the spanish, but some subtitles for us non-spanish speaking members might help.

Nice overall!

I like the amount of Spanish so far. Can't understand it but I just roll with it. It's been fun thus far. You might want to try this one with a bit more story telling, just to see if it pans out better or worse than the workers' paradise.

Hola mi fellow Tropicans...
I am here to bring you vary bad news. The island of Tropico has declared independence from New Tropico and Senor Presidente.
Apparently the rebeldes rebels claim that Senor Presidente rigged the ecelections! Sólo podía desear, me refiero a que el tipo es un idiota, ¿por qué nadie lo eligen? Oh, mierda todavía estamos en el aire!

So, in this troubled time, with New Tropico being the only Tropican island under lawful rule (como si!) Senor Presidente order the construction of several buildings.

Then nothing happened...

For two maldito years! I hear the rebels on Tropico have constructed quite a metropolis...

¿Y ahora qué? Please enlighten Senor "Presidente."
