The guard steadfastly ignores him and picks up his finished bowl, taking it down to the temple's kitchen. He ignores Thoki like he were a insistent shadow trying to trip him.
Mier sneaks forward, as silently as he can. The wagons are sadly in the open ground with nothing but dirt and short, well-traveled grass. He peers into one of the wagons and notices a man laying there, cupping his wound, buried in a pile of overturned mercantile wares and doing his best to pretend to be a corpse.
Kaelan accidentally draws
3 power but succeeds in making his body take on the environment's colors. He advances on the caravan, noting that where his body ends and the air begins there is a noticeable outline.
Inser returns to his namu. There isn't anyone about anymore.
Trendam tries a different thing and
hardens his bones. He doesn't feel anything different, but ... he supposed it worked. He uses

He then returns home for some sleep.

Aile tries to create fire.
She gasps as all of her power disappears, but the result is simply spectacular. The namu is wreathed in living fire that creates streams and gouts, shapes that almost seem familiar, beautiful bursts of fire that consumes itself from the inside. . . The men all jump and back away, looking scared.

1 power. The earth starts to tremble, and a cascade of pine needles and oak leaves descend on the clearing. The men are outright terrified and break orders, running away in any direction. One of them treds right past Aile but doesn't notice in his plight. The man who seems to be the leader of this small group shouts at the men. No-one listens.
