"Okay, I'll be happy to."

Mier takes the list, and retrieves the money from the coffer, careful to keep it seperated from his own. He heads to the market and searches for people selling the items on the list.

Thoki suddenly realized that he may not have introduced himself either. "My, I think I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Thoki." He ate a spoonful of his nearly finished soup. "I thought you were someone that the guard pointed out to me, but it seems like it was just random chance. I guess we were just lucky to meet either other like this."

Finish the bowl of soup.

"I am Jacques Lelouch, but you should call me James at least around the guards. Safer that way."

He stopped to have a bit more of the soup.

"So, what are you three planning to do now? I have recently come into some money, but I can't go back home. The man at the temple, he offered to send me to one of the larger cities, ah but I'm not so sure I want to go to such a place."

Jacques eats his soup.

"Actually... We've been offered the same thing, but for different reasons." Thoki looked around to make sure no one was listening in, but he figured that it didn't really matter, "I'm more worried about why they put a bounty on the totems. Someone must know something about them. I was going to try and find out who when I ran into you."

Finish the bowl of soup.

"I'm more worried about hiding the totems," Salden whispered quietly. "It shouldn't matter so much once that's done."

Eat some rations and then, as with the leaf and nails, attempt to enchance my muscular mass through magic.

Spoiler: Aile Urien (click to show/hide)

Aile looked around at her companions, realizing she also did not introduce herself, and lightly shook her head at her incompetence.

"So is it agreed that we approach the guards and ask about that bounty? Me and Thoki didn't glean much from them, mostly about them following orders and such.

And I'm Aile Urien. You could just go by 'Ai' if you want, I don't mind.

Also, I guess my totem is the only one not hidden. I just took a chunk of it by pure will, strangely."

She brought out the chunk and showed it to the rest before stowing it away.

"This cat," she said, pointing to the creature curled on her lap, "was the one who told me to go to the Northern village after meeting me, then I chanced upon Salden, and met Thoki here.

Somehow, I don't think our meeting was by coincidence."

Jacques added in helpfully, "Mine turned into the gem because I asked it politely to do so. I think that might help."

"..."

"Wait, the cat talks?'

Salden giggled. "You ever known a normal raven to refuse treats?" he asked with a grin.

Thoki wasn't quiet as confident about talking about this kind of thing aloud, so he kept his voice low. "I personally like my guide. It's a man made completely from shadows. It's an interesting sight to see, but it doesn't seem to like sunlight, so I'd have to show everyone later tonight."

Salden

"I'm pretty sure there was the smell of carrion in that stew, so I ain't eating it."

The raven pokes the side of your head.

Inser

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You try to effect a change in your ears, but you can't draw enough power.

The boar returns to its own business.

Mier

You find a single silver coin and a couple f-notes in the coffer. There's no way it'll be mixed up with your own money, you note, since you don't have a single coin - why, this is the first time you've seen one up close - and your bills are more ragged and old.

((1 silver coin, 7 f-20 bills, 1 f-120 bill))

You head towards the market. It is around the town square, which is being intruded upon by people staking tents like a mold spreads to clean bread. However, there are no outsider merchants here, yet.

A small (but not young, maybe around fifteen or fourteen) boy with a rather flat, but crafty looking visage dashes in from the east, and tries to catch everyone's attention. A single small boy trying to catch the attention of busy merchants and workers is like attempting to fish with a straight needle.

He seems out-of-breath.

Kaelan wanders around town. Of profitable things, you found a stray f20 note, but nothing of real profit. Of interesting things, well, there was that short kid who came rushing in from the east and headed towards the town square, shouting something.

Trendam

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You draw 1 power but nothing happens.

(('ss' with leaf and nails?))

Ire

"Yes, I do talk, so be enlightened!" says N lazily before being silent again.

((No need to add soup eating to action xD))

Mier approaches the boy and queries, "What's wrong?"

He also keeps an eye out for the things on the shopping list.

Reattempt the spell. ("attempt to enchance my muscular mass through magic")
