The northern village is reached in six hours. The trip was slow because the merchants had to bring along lots of more bulkier items. The market square is bustling with people setting up stalls, unloading and storing goods, and just looking on. It has been more than a season since the merchants last came.

Talk about interpretating actions to the letter, still, damned be my own specificness; wheter the plant was a tree or not would have mattered little for the intended experiment. Following that line, just what kind of utterly bizarre flora does the region have? There are plants which may prove hard to categorize, yes, but having trouble finding even a single tree is on a whole other level.

Look for a plant and try to make it grow.

Inside are lots of pretty rocks that are transparent. What kind of gem they are is unknown to you; it's a wonder you managed to see anything during the short time it was transparent.
