"Very well, three days."

Mier walks down to the town proper and searches for an inn, neither the smallest nor largest, and asks the price of a room for the night.

"Hey, maybe we should just avoid the village and just head into the forest. I wouldn't hang around for too long."

Thoki looked down at the ground in front of him in regret.

"I kind of used a little bit of magic in front of a bartender before I left. I guess I just wasn't thinking anything of it at the time. If they're looking for anyone it's me. I'll head into the forest and bury the namu before they can find it, if you want to just head back I'll understand."

Head into the forest.

Follow Thoki.

"Oh. Well, maybe you can hide us all if something happens? Or distract them with shadows, or... hm...

Hehehehehe, maybe I could make us a big bush to hide in? I don't think they'd expect that..."

The namu was safe. Good. Now, back to work!

Whew!

There was no reason not to find a model. He would easily be able to find someone suitable in the North Village. The new plan was as follows:

1. Take statue and namu to the north village.
2. Find model near the north village's chapel.
3. Finish statue of goddess using model.

Jacques heads north.

"Mmm? I was saying that if you don't be careful, and also don't have some of your namu to help, you'll be killed. Nothing much more to it."
Follow Thoki and Salden with a worried look. Repeat what Nnaranha said.

"Erm, Thoki. I think you should at least get a part off from your namu other than hiding it. Those people don't look very friendly.

"Oh, and I guess those namus can't be affected by physical weapons. Try willing part of it out. Hey, I'll help if that doesn't work!"

Thoki shook his head.

"That's alright. The first thing I tried was cutting a branch off a tree with its own shadow. That worked well enough. If I have to will it then I'm sure the shadows can cut it just fine."

"Oh. I just created a little sphere of Creation, and when I touched the namu with it, it reacted and gave me a shard.

And, um, took a little power to grow it back."

Inser

The raven caws extra loudly, probably just to make your ears hurt, before saying,
"I'd say nine or ten, but one or two are dead and or in a coma. Fainted."

You head home and go to sleep...

The next day, you wake up nice and refreshed. Your power is restored to 6/6. The day is overcast. The raven is sleeping with its head under its wing on a dowel that serves as your clothing rack.

Azthor

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You spend 1 power and feel that your head is alacritously healed. It's almost as if you never hurt.

Mier

You walk to a middle-sized inn and ask the price for a room. The man at the counter tells you it is twenty-five copper coins and makes to get you a key from a drawer.

Kaelan

You look at the raven. It looks back at you. You then retrieve your hammock and head off.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You stumble upon a clearing. It is exactly the same as the one your namu was in, but the actual namu itself is nowhere in sight.

Salden, Thoki, Aile

You three head into the forest.

...What do you do in there? O_o

Jacques

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You put the namu in a pack and heft the statue.
...It is quite heavy.

You get out on the street and call four young, strong men and pay 10 coins each for them to move the statue to the north village.

One hour and many rests later, the heavy stone statue which is still missing a face gets to the north village. Again, you ask a woman who is similar in appearance to your image of the goddess to model for you. However, she refuses and leaves, not silently but with a sharp word or two.

Should you ... (a) ask another person (b) be satisfied with just any female model (c) model the statue after the one in the chapel?

Kaelan uses his power to make all wood in the clearing glow with a pale purple light, inspecting the center of the clearing carefully.

I wonder how long the raven will stay around. Will he only be here until I leave, or will he stay with me?

"Reasonable enough, I suppose."

Might as well try this out tonight, I suppose.

Mier reaches into his cloth pouch, extracting 25 copper coins, and hands them over in exchange for the key. After entering his room, he blocks the window (if applicable) and calls upon his magic, attempting to light the room up as brightly as if it were day. Afterwards, regardless of his success, he goes to sleep.

Borrow some metal from the forge and try to shape it in a dagger in the same way the tree was willed back into its original state. Use only unworked metal in the experiment, lest the blacksmith's work go waste.

Spoiler: Aile Urien (click to show/hide)

Aile turned to Thoki, "So...where did you say your namu was, again?"

Look for anything that seems to be a namu. Stroke Nnaranha's ear.
