Downloaded the fort. Apparently we have an underground forest, magma and adamantine. Though there appears to have been very little fortress development.

Was my design really that complicated?

He got a temple, A MOTHA-FREAKING TEMPLE.


What temple did you make, adamanite or mountain? Adamanite needs no sacrifice I think, only slade and mountain.

It was Just a Common stone of some sort Shrine to armok.
I don't know much about religion in this mod, and didn't know i was supposed to be using adamantine for it.
And for the most of my turn i was just mining, Doing some expansion, getting all farms working at full capacity, making noble rooms, things like that.

It was Just a Common stone of some sort Shrine to armok.
I don't know much about religion in this mod, and didn't know i was supposed to be using adamantine for it.
And for the most of my turn i was just mining, Doing some expansion, getting all farms working at full capacity, making noble rooms, things like that.

Theres three shrines, one needs adamanite flasks, one needs Slade thrones, one needs common. You got the mountain spirit helper, he unleashes ultimate death on your enemies for the soul of a noble peasant

The shrine is for praying, altar is for Sacrifices.
There is some raw adamantine, maybe two Pieces of it, Not the four needed for an altar.
I didn't see the temple, since it was hidden in the furnaces, but that lets you sacrifice Armor and weapons for unique items, but it requires magma.
So, if Aztha wants to screw around with magma and religion, he could probably screw around with that.
I don't even know if the Temple needs magma, but the manual says magma temple to Armok.

I Walled off The entrance to the Twelve or so Z-level Hole to Hell.
Should be good unless The demons can Somehow Teleport Or destroy walls.

They have teleporters in Masterwork I think, and diggers. Besides, you NEED the HFS to not be burned to get late-game stuff, like

Just wanted to leave some notes here:
Dangerrooms are unuseable in the mod.
There are no teleporting demons or diggers. Some vermin from the 3rd cavern might cause troubles though.
With active sieges there wont be caravans, without caravans no blueprints, without those no good weapons/armor.
You dont need the HFS to make slade, you can produce it in the Magma Factory by compressing 10 stones into 1 slade boulder.
Temple of Armok is for praying and sacrifices, the MountainKing is a magic unit, found... in the Hall of the Mountainking. Surprise :P
Edit: One last thing: The caverns look like you used the standard worldgen, is that correct ?

I would also like to request to be dwarved, any halfway decently skilled doctor or fighter, and would like to request a turn in this. I might be able to turn things around a bit, since, well, I know the mod rather well ;)

Great to see a succession fort using the mod :)

Ah, those vermin are who I thought of.

I used normal worldgen.

I have all your default settings on, I only editted out harder-everything and a few civs using the GUI.

Ok, spring/summer have been played, writeup will either be tonight or tomorrow depending on when I finish it. Nothing major; a few uneventful sieges/FBs, a mood that _almost_ killed NCommander, minor things. We've also run out of booze because our brewer doesn't like rock pots for some reason. Current project is more tidying the place up and getting basic functions up and running, then setting up some magma forges. We don't seem to have any iron that I can see, so I'm thinking just skip straight to candy.

Who needs dwarfing btw?

Why not rock barrels from the stonecutter ?

Anyway, you should really order tree seeds/funog spores from the caravans, with a tree farm the fortress will run a  lot smoother.
