Holy adamantine!
« on: April 06, 2012, 01:06:40 pm »

(Story:I released the clowns, abandoned with dead dwarves. I reclaim, and what happens? The adamantine I mined is EVERYWHERE. The surface is covered in adamantine!

This is.. interesting. And the clowns are gone.

Just part of the usual stuff gets scattered everywhere routine when you reclaim a fort.  Lighter stuff gets scattered more, supposedly, so it makes sense that the adamantine would end up all over the place.

Kinda surprised at the lack of demons though.  Although I've never reclaimed a fort, so maybe that's normal.

I revealed for a moment, and there are absolutely no demons. There are only 3 on the edges of #@$&%$@

Creatures that are in your fort on reclaim often go invisible and then "spring from ambush". I've had camels do it to me before.

How many dwarves did you embark with? Try making everyone that's at least a novice fighter into a soldier, with the most skilled/charismic of them as the commander. I remember someone telling me that some sieges were based on wealth. Luckily you now have a sh*tton of adamantine to make into armor and weapons.
