They'll be ugly little clog-sandals dyed in garish colours and they shall be known as Crocs.

Also, I'm counting on the crocsplosion so I can stick'em in a cage. They don't attack eachother in cages and if they do it don't bother me none, as long as there's still a few left to scare gobbo's with.

Although my FPS is low already. I forgot what I put the pop cap at.

We all rejoice in your !FUN!. Just how is this related to the topic?

On-topic: When a siege arrives, divert it into a citadel built by your dwarves for the crocodiles to live in.
Imagine one of the fleeing goblins reporting to his warchief: "It was terrible! The crocodiles have evolved into sapient beings. They even built themselves private bedrooms!"

I embarked on an island, saw the ocean was frozen, and decided to dig a fort in there. I forgot that it wasn't a freezing biome...

In personal experience, I tend to prefer rutherers.
Rutherers may only breed in a max of 3, but with a size of 3,000,000.. it makes up.

I got fed up with my fortress, so I decided to kill everyone (abandon is for elves) with a cave-in.

OK, cave-ins were always pretty deadly, but with the new falling object damage they are downright brutal.  As far as I can make out from the logs, many people were killed by the flying bodies of other victims.  One baby's corpse ricocheted off three other people, two walls and the floor.

Minatours are pretty weak. What you want to do is keep it prisoner, so that when you abandon it'll pick up it's weapon of choice from the ruins of your fort. Hint : they like axes.

I had one that was wielded a hammer, then dual-wielded a spear after it nabbed it from my legendary pokedorf!

Magma killed him.

How'd he get the hammer? D:

Long story short, mine had a masterwork steel battle axe. Suddenly, it became very dangerous.

3 rutherers versus 20-60 cave crocodiles.

I know which one I prefer. :P

Testing tiems!

Slightly of toppic, but how long does it take for a croc and a rutherererererer to mature? ive just had my first and maybe only clutch hatch, but ive had a hatchling since ive started. Also, if an animal gets injured, say broke legs, will these heal, or will i need one of my dwarfs to fix em up?

Broken bones will never heal without setting, and Dwarves never tend to animals beyond putting a spike through their skull, so that's out of the question.
