My framerate above 100.

Oh god yes.

If the game was just single, huge counter that filled the screen and never dropped below 100, I would be content.

I normally play at 130-200 fps.

When mine drops it seems to never increase which is strange.
No matter how many dwarves I kill, no matter how many items I atomsmash it never recovers.
Maybe I just have terrible fortress layouts.

Today i caught a werechamelion who was a elf. She was captured in her elf form first, so i was already pleased to have a tree lover behind bars. When she starting turning, i couldent stop smiling. Now she sits in my mayors dining room.

Also, I love it when my legendary siege-operator children manage to shoot a copper ballista arrow straight.  Even with legendaries and masterwork parts, its pretty rare they shoot straight.

Seeing a whole mouthful of teeth spatter everywhere.

Just today a Minotaur socked a kitten so hard in the mouth that something like 20 teeth flew out. Such a brilliant spread, all with their blood trails and decaying velocities. I giggled like an infant.

That colossus looks more like a steampunk automaton of unusual size.

I think Toady had more of a Greek Talos in mind, personally....

Talos was basically a thin skin of cooled bronze in the shape of a man, created by Hephaistos, filled with molten bronze.  IIRC, the argonauts killed him by peircing his heel, allowing the molten bronze to gush out.

I'm going to be honest, I'm completely smitten with the idea of them being an automaton of questionable origin, killing machines crafted by unknown hands in a time before time.

It's like the pinnacle of dwarfiness.
