Guys, clearly, Cthulhu has killed Duke. I don't know what his motive would be, but it's not like he needs one.

What you say? He's not in the game? Well fuck you then. Real content once I'm in a state that can be vaguely described as "awake".

Would you go further on this? In my experiences with Meph's games, the flavor has given clues that have altered the course of the game before (don't ask for specifics because I don't know them for sure, but I'm pretty sure others will agree with me.)
Well, sure, if someone is found missing in the morning in a PM, it implies the presence of a xeno, there are no subtle hints to be gained, like in Witches' Coven, and I'm pretty sure Meph intends it to be that way.

Just to add to this topic, at the very least in the Paranormal games Meph has made it known that there is info to be gleamed from flavor.  The flavor surrounding how a person was NKd tells how the person was killed (dismembered = dopp, bullet holes = PWV, etc.).  That's why one of the large tech items has the sole effect of changing the flavor of how a person appears to be killed.  So it stands to reason that flavor may contain some hints in this game as well.

Darvi, Flandre:  You've both had over 24 hours.  Are you awake yet, Darvi?

Rereading and posting more after my meds kick in.

I totally missed the forum this weekend.  Doh!

Extend and reread.  Unvote as well- old RV.

Are you awake yet, Darvi?
No. a) I haven't gotten my daily dose of sugar (damn dentist :V) and b) two nights of bad sleep due to an accute case of Finger Poke in the Eye and the pain from the resulting bruise.

But meh Uni's over for now. Extend because we apparently need one.

Irony:
Toony:
We can say Tiruin is trying to gather sympathy from the populace.
I'd be more inclined to say he's naturally squishy and uncertain.

Why?

Jokerman:  How quiet and useless does RVS have to be for you to come out and lay the smack down?

Tiruin:  Why did you ignore Native's question to you, especially right after you voted him?

Flandre:  What have you learned from reading over the game so far?

And in all this time you didn't find anything interesting to ask? NativeForeigner

Have I asked anything? Other than this question, of course.

Extend, if there hasn't already been enough.

Toaster: He didn't in all 10 normal forum format pages. Wondering why he isn't. I thought that was a rhetorical question, given how he worded it.

Darvi: Same question for Bookthras goes for you: If you were a cop-type role, what characteristics or qualities would you judge your target by?

So I've read through the thread. I was hoping that there would be something glaringly obvious to complain about, but it was just as uninformative as most D1's are.
So to  answer Toaster's question...
Flandre:  What have you learned from reading over the game so far?
...I'd say not much.

Zombie Urist: How confident are you in your abilities? Do you feel you're going to be a credit to your side?

I'm pretty confident with my game. I think I'll be useful.
Well, maybe besides your confidence, Zombie Urist. I know you scapegoated to real-world experience with mafia, but I am not too convinced. Does real-world mafia experience even translate well into forum mafia?

It was very clearly a rhetorical question. Why are you trying to catch Tiruin for not answering a rhetorical question?

Native: I was more interested in him voting you then not responding to your immediate response to it.

Do you find his vote on you valid?

Why were you hoping for something to complain about? And why are you being so passive?

Toony: What are you doing and why is it nothing?

I've been doing pretty good.  I was mainly seeing an issue with other people's posting.  Dariush still isn't responding.

And no, Darvi hasn't tried to do anything so far.

Urist: I wasn't aware that it was possible to be passive in RVS. How is Flandre being passive? I don't see it.
