I have a feeling whatever their real "secret" unlock was backed out at the last minute, and they spent two weeks figuring out what to do - finally just making a deal with the creator and giving Mordor out even though it didn't get 50k sales.

A shame mordor isn't compatible with 64-bit OSes.
