No, I am not hosting this one, but our own Bay12's Christonian is doing this to celebrate his success on his YouTube channel.

Anyway, it would feel a bit weird to just randomly subscribe for a giveaway when I arent gonna watch anything. Gonna check out the channel and see if I find anything interesting. Might watch Towns.

I can't project tone. Though my negativity is projected mostly because there is a certain point where these become advertisements.

But between here and Towns forums that is where my channel began and because Alex got help from Hemmingjay for his giveaway I asked if it would be a good idea to make a thread about it and he agreed

free game is a free game to whomever wins

and thanks to Subs that were created here through my threads in the video area

If people would rather this thread not exist I will take it down. I think it's a bit silly to complain about it, but that's just my humble opinion. If you want to pay for games you can do so without any ulterior motives, except the marketing that informed you about the game. If you want free games that are donated by companies or individuals in exchange for exposure then you might have to read through a post or in this case click "follow" on a youtube channel. There are even options on youtube to not receive emails about content, so there is little/no reason to be so off-put.

As far as I know, Christonian is not being paid to do his contest so I don't see a reason to even consider it advertising. That being said, if more than 3 people want this taken down I will.

Again this is just a Thank you to both subs and gaming community in general and by creating awareness for the indie games I support through my channel

I am by far the only one who even slightly sees it that way.

No need to get too defensive by all means everyone considers these giveaways a boon and don't mind that they have to go on youtube and subscribe.

I really hate being that one person who everyone talks about who when they quote they put on a whinny voice.
