So I just had a fun idea. I want to take my champion soldier and pit him against the entire goblin army I just captured in cages.Theres about 50 of them. Its a mix of trolls and goblins. The goblins all have various weapon skills. Some of them are weapon masters. I don't plan on stripping them of any weapons or armor, so it won't be as simple as chopping everyone in half.

Yes, he is duel wielding Battle axes and holding a shield. He is awesome.

His eyebrows are quite sparse. His silver eyes are somewhat narrow. His hair is flax. His skin is burnt umber.
He occasionally overindulges. He can handle stress. He prefers to be alone. He is assertive. He is trusting. He is occasionally given to procrastination. He often does the first thing that comes to mind. He stiffen up when surprised. He needs alcohol to get through the working day. He like working outdoors and grumbles only mildly at inclement weather. He doesn't really care about anything anymore.

No reason to have two battleaxes, as they would just slow him down and he can't attack with both at once as far as I know. If you gave him an axe and sword, perhaps, as that would be two available attacks.

As it stands, I think he could take on that army if they came at him in something like squads of five or six, but with fifty on one he'll probably get teamed and go down after taking out maybe a few dozen.

Something is going to get a lucky shot in on him.  Until then though, enjoy the martial trance and blender action.  I would say he'd get exhausted before he kills them all, but with those stats probably not.

Nope, two battleaxes would be no better or worse than a sword, for in both cases only one weapon could be used at a time. Though sometimes weapons get lodged in wounds, which does complicate things. The difference between the sword and axe vs axe and axe would be there would be more variety in the attacks landing, but since the champion is good with both weapons, I'd stick with the sword/axe.

I'd say the goblins and trolls will all die.

Legendary axe user - parries everywhere. Shield blocks everywhere. Armour blocks everywhere. And that's for the hits that even land.

The biggest risk is your champion getting knocked back by the trolls, once they're out, it should end very, very quickly.

Synopsis:

The champion dances all over them, merrily slaying them all without injury, as a train line of Dwarfs kept ushering in trying to claim socks, only to say "fuck this" and skip their drunken feet out of there. The closest the champion got to dying was getting mildly thirsty.
