Kotaku article with a batch of new concept art and rendered game screens. Jordan also talk a little about details...like no day/night cycle, how the character dolls are built, ect...

I always love when we catch timelines.

The best will always be the Jetsons. Remember in 1996 when we had flying cars and our world was too poluted to breathe in?

And everyone works in dehumanizing manufacturing jobs - oh wait, nobody has a job and the factories are all in India / China. Oh well!

They didnt get any of it right. Air Quality, at least for the US is fantastic, as it is in most if not all first world countries.

Pretty new screenshots from Shadowrun Returns

I'm really liking the visual style so far.  I've got high hopes for this game.  :D

(sorry for the necro, but no point in making a whole new thread I think)

Agreed.  I was floored by the images.  Had I seen these on the kickstarter campaign, I would have been hard pressed to not donate.  I'm looking forward to this so much more now--and I want to fire up the SNES Shadowrun.

I am glad they didn't do the silly "Super graphics or DIE" thing a lot of companies go for. Most of the time stylised tends to be the way to go.

I think an amount of reservation is needed. These are not screen shoots, even if they are composed out of game assets. This is their dream, that doesn't mean they'll achieve it.

From what I've seen they are rather achievable and basic.

I would usually have the same reservations as mrwiggles, especially when you consider their release date is just a few months out.  But having backed this game I read a piece about their development of an earlier game for mobile devices that they cracked out in 12 weeks IIRC.  They seem to have a pretty talented team that is managed well and can produce high quality stuff quickly.  I love how this game is turning out better than I had expected and enjoy following their AR twitter feed.  Very eager to see the finished product!
