Out of curiosity, does anyone know how customizable the ships are going to be?

Very.

I would put more but not much has been released

Wait, so if not much has been released then how do you know it's very customizable?

Because notch has promised customizability?

Well, in my mind, there is customizability, then there is making a scale replica of the Enterprise.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

What about it being [REDACTED] makes it any less horrific?

Well it's just [REDACTED], but with six other people. It's not that bad, though obviously it's causing her a lot of [REDACTED].

Sillies, it probably has nothing to do with that. Montauk is a location; a city in New York. Recently somewhat internet-famous for the so-called Montauk Monster; the carcass of a partially decayed dead raccoon which happened to look weird (because of being partially decayed and bloated by the water) when it washed up on shore.

There's also a separate minor conspiracy theory associated with Montauk: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montauk_Project

Don't forget the time travel research bit.

Which would certainly be fitting for a beta of a game set in the far future, in more than one way. :P

And considering the wiki page for time travel has The Montauk Project listed on 'time travel claims' and it is really the only one which isn't a completely obvious hoax/silliness and is broad/vague/mysterious enough, if I were a Notch looking for a minor time-travel related name, that would probably be it.
