making different breeds of dog via the caste tags.

if you can figure out a bodysize I'll add it in.

also if you have a criticism of a body size I've added, please have a substitute value for me to use or odds are I won't change it.

Those are separate creatures entirely.

Check out the "creature tokens" page on the wiki. It'll tell you which tokens are applicable to castes, and which function for the entire creature.

Also bear in mind that female dachsunds would still be able to mate with male poodles to produce german shepherds. The adult's caste has no bearing on the caste of their children.

I'll make you a prototype you can fuck around with. 4 castes: boxer bulldog poodle husky.

The basic thing to realize is that most things that define a creature can instead define a caste. In this way, you can make castes that are very, very different from each other.

I realize that, I'm just trying to puzzle out how it lays out. my previous attempt ended...badly

I'm basically assuming the standard dog is the size of a husky

It lays out... pretty much exactly as it does in the regular raws that ship with the game. You define a caste with a name, then put all the tokens relevant to that caste underneath. It's not very different from defining a new creature.

Your weights seem off there. Your poodles seem to be toy poodles, yet they're 1/4 the weight of a husky; that's way, way, way off. There are charts describing different breeds by weight, and those make good estimates for size proportions: http://www.nextdaypets.com/directory/breeds/

It was simply a prototype so he had something to fiddle with. I made it in literally 2 minutes. The actual thing I did wrong is fail to assign caste names. They'll all exist but they'll all be named "dog" with no ability to tell what kind they are without reading their personal descriptions.
