Sounds like somebody's processor fan blew out...

I'm looking forward to the new hauling system. I theorize that Toady wouldn't slow down manual hauling rates at all or otherwise change the rate at which dwarves move (until the movement/action speed split, at least.) We're getting more efficient methods to haul because the current hauling/stockpiling system is like an unholy trainwreck on a universal scale. Slowing anything down while trying to speed it up would be illogical, which doesn't describe Toady One at all.

I'm also waiting intently to see exactly how minecart systems work. The possibilities are as endless as the coding is complex, and the coding is ☼COMPLEX☼ indeed.

There is, actually, not anything really wrong with the current stockpiling system. You have a stockpile. You have stuff that needs stockpiled. You have dwarfs that have nothing better to do. It gets hauled. I'm not sure what's complicated about that.

Also, I wasn't angry or anything (nor would I have any right to be) but more miffed, leaning towards peeved.
