Can you build anti bombardment systems?

Not yet, although buildings and robots have some defensive features, we're still working on things like law enforcement and a missile shield.  I mean a star wars.  I mean anti missile systems

In the interesting of sparking player interest, Wayfar is running our first contest - vehicle designs.  The winner will receive a pimp my ride version of the vehicle they design, and all quality submissions will receive a unique journal/bragging rights (as well as possible future implemention of their ideas!).  Some suggestions and full details are available here:

As well as on our new forum:

And of course we offer a little hellmoo crossover bonus!

I highly recommend playing with other people, and experimenting in space with cheap ships.  It is a very open ended game and that's one of the drawbacks - no real direction, quests to complete etc.  The tradeoff is that you can do a variety of different things.  Either way I'm glad you checked it out :)

Well, i'd gladly use this promo thing to get prizes! If i was not too young for HellMOO
But anyways, i have only noticed one planet (primeval) and 3 new moons (one of them is a water moon)
Can anyoen tell me where else i can find nwe planets?

I finally (over two days and many beers), made a huge upgrade to the TRAVEL command that I've been wanting for the last year... two years?

You can now use TRAVEL directly to go to co-ordinates on a planet.  The path finding has been improved (thanks to one of our wonderful volunteers, Sadi), so you always take the shortest route.  This is done with TRAVEL X Y where X and Y are the co-ordinates you want to go to.

But I also wanted a way to encourage interaction with other players but giving them a few hints as to where interesting stuff was.  So now, by typing TRAVEL by itself, you not only get a list of your memorized locations, but also the nearest point of interest (where rarer/more dangerous things) spawn, sector centers, player shops, and cantinas!

You can use warp gates (with a warp drive ship) to get to new solar systems.

Ehndras here, freshly spawned. :) Emergency on the shuttle, whatever that choice even means, and a lab tech background. :)

We're sitting at 18 right now (Saturday afternoon), and it fluctuates based on promotions, which I am now doing every other month, school, and other factors.  At the low end we'll sometimes have only a handful of people online.  We've added some helpful community managers to answer questions and I think the new chargen gets people to the planet faster, which is where the real fun begins.

If you had said 40 players online when I started way far with the square maps and the single demo truck I would have laughed and laughed...
