-Royal Decree for the next Overseer-

The beasts of these lands threaten our people, raise a army and slay the undead. Make use of Axes and swords and return the undead to the underworld!

I havent seen any undead yet, in fact everything been very quiet as far as wildlife is concerned.
also, screenshots are done.

Lololol, I had to take a last minute trip out of town, didn't have internet until today. I assumed this had been abandoned. I check, and people have been playing!!

Sorry about my disappearance, I'll update the OP with all the current updates and keep things flowing.

Thanks for joining in, guys!

I live as well, and its evil, so theres resurrection.

Is that an offer to be player #3? :p

Ya, I didn't notice any zombie risings, either... The death period for the loathesome muck is just under 1 season, when everyone died on me, EVERYONE, and all the animals, died on the same day, the first day of summer. And it either evaporates when you go inside, or the line where it falls was exactly the perfect number of tiles from the entrance, because my dwarves were tracking it to the entrance, but not inside. Wounds start showing up after about a month. Then every single thing turns red, oozes, and you die.

EDIT: OP is fully updated, again, sorry I got dragged out of town, but I'm back now, let's roll! :p

Yea, I also noticed it never got traked past the enterance, so it probably is a temprature thing. Not sure about the taking a month to cause wounds thing though, all damage I saw was almost immediate, maybe it depends on the exposure time?
So untill we figgure out a way of causing global warming in DF, try to keep everyone inside, or at least out of the contaminated areas.
and as I said, as long as your wearing shoes, it's harmless once on the ground.

also, looking over my screenshots, they didn't come out great after uploading. I still have the originals on my computer if anyone really wants me to reupload them in better quality, it's just a matter of effort, and the fact that most people probably won't have any idea whats gong on anyway seeing as there all in ASCII.
I could probably also combine all my entries into one post if desired, it should be under the charecter limit.

i cant play as i only just learned to put in saves and i have almost no experience in large forts. i have only had ONE with a mayor and then i had a small problem with mandates, over effective lawmen and beatings

No, it's cool. I linked them all as a single entry.

:p you can insert saves, and you know how to play. Sounds good to me ;) as long as you don't destroy it, then I have no problem with you giving it a turn :) if you do destroy it, well... We have the previous save, lol. At least the fort is being played :)

Really, being a decent writer is the only real requirement to a com-fort, just because reading the stories is the fun part for those not playing :)

I'll give it a day or 2,if no one picks it up, I'll probably run another turn to keep it going. I'd prefer not to, tho, lol.
