"Ayup. Manipulators - officially cursed."

Okay, that did not work at all. Time for plan F. Use gauss pistol to shoot the Amp Specialist in the heart or whatever while trying to circle around him. Or, if I am close enough, try spraying him with Xeno Spit.
[con:4]
You fire your sawn off gauss rifle at the hovering man. The round plinks off the air around him. Unsurprising.

OH FOR FUCKS SAKE I'M SUPPOSED TO BE DOING THAT

Heat the amp user's brain to sufficient temperature to incinerate it.

After he's dead, grow a mouth, eat the closest dead person's body except for their head, and regenerate into a sphere of chitin with wings.

[exo:5+1]
You focus on the area around the amp user's head. It begins to heat up, shimmering like the air over hot pavement, but then cools suddenly; to the point that the water in the air instantly crystallizes into tiny bits of snow that float down around the amper and get trapped in the solid sphere of force he's hovering inside.

Prepare more quantum mechanical wizardry for not being hit. If that actually works then calmly cross arms and ask "You done? Yeah, yeah you are most definitely done." and do a amp-punch to amp-guys heart.

((WHY IS HE INVINCIBLE? Kinetic Shunt maybe? I REALLY need to get one of those.))
[uncon:3+1]
You punch the air, unable to reach the guy and send powerful gusts of wind up towards him. He seems unimpressed.

"Urgh... бллдь... need... medic.. here..."

Anton falls to his knees and clutches his gut, trying to keep his composure and focus despite the pain and blood loss.

Out of the burning crater rises the Amp specialist, looking a bit worse for wear. His hair is still smoldering and hes got a few small burns over the exposed parts of his body. Seems like he protected himself, but only just barely. He floats up and out of the hole, the air warping and distorting around him and he prepares to issue his counter attack.

"Ff... ffuck... youu.."

Point the Red Hand at the Amper. Wait for a moment when it seems he's about to unleash his attack, as that's when his focus on defense will be weakest, then tag the bastard full stream.

((Well, there's no good way out of this for the less mobile people like Anton. Might as well try a last act of defiance.))
[con:3]
You wait, firing just as he's about to attack. Unfortunately, none of your shots actually hit the bastard. They get close, clipping the rubber of his tires, but thats it.

((Wait he is? Odd. I think he's still back on the ship since he was assisting the SW hunters with his remote turret. I suppose he's at the ship.))
Charles checks whether his turret has line of sight to the amp user. If it does, he opens fire, if it doesn't, he stands around looking sheepish. If his suit has anything that lets his voice be heard by the specialist, he uses it to speech roll him.
Sheepish it is.

((Oh good. I enjoy being totally fine.))

"FUCK FUCK FUCK FUUUUUUCK!"

Switch to burst fire, enter the void, run to where I think is right behind him, exit and fire off a burst, then get back into the void.

((Was tempted to say empty the mag, but I don't think it's too smart to be in close quarters with this guy for too long even without having the entire team fire all the things at him.))
You switch into the void. You blink into existence about 3 inches away from that flaming hellish thing that was chasing you last time you were here. It smiles a much too large smile.
"What an unexpected twist!"

[will:6]
You pop immediately back out of the void, screaming incoherently  and curled into a ball.

((Dammit Stacy...at least you didn't accidentally permakill anyone.))

((Actually, he was supposed to die considering Faith's secret orders. So yes, it was a success.))
((IF we ignore the collateral damage.))

((Uhhhh. Morul isn't in that list, and the last action I had was to climb down the hole, and to jump into the void at the first sign of trouble. So, before I post an action, what's going on.))
((Grate was also in the area. Is he okay? ...Please don't have him die because I reminded you of this...))

Soooo, you guys heard about that new black hole opening up last week? Pretty rad huh? And to think there used to be a planet there.))
((News to me. Link, by any chance?))

[end:1-1]
Oh...oh dear.

A chunk of debris from the explosion, a slab of concrete the size of a truck, lands flat on top of you with a very final sort of thud.

So ends the adventures of the HMRC's youngest, most innocent member.

Thanks Robobro, I owe you one.
Flee, while firing my laser back at the Amp specialist. Try to drag any dead or wounded away from the combat zone.
You grab Anton and drag him back, away from the fight. You have to use both hands, but anton seems plenty happy to do the laser shooting on your behalf.

((Shouldnt Auron have rolled a [2+1]? I have 15 dex and i left the UE corpse in my loot crate.))

unpin myself and then loot michael before pulling jack off of the wall and sticking him in my backpack. Afterwards assist anyone still pinned and run back to the sword.
Auron: Too busy looting to fight.

You burst out of the the rubble and just grab Both mike and Jack's bodies. You thrown them over your shoulders and rocket jump out of the hole and off toward the building, running past Anton and his unfamiliar helper.

"CORPSE RUN, CORPSE RUN, NEED HEALER!"

((Well, we have now determined the effects of at least one type of Will overshot on my Phase Suit. Namely, I dodge the attack, but get stuck a bit as consequence.

I can deal with that.))

Simus attempts to tug her feet free of their new concrete boots, and regardless of the result, fires her X3C Gauss Rifle at Xavier, hoping to coordinate her shot with her teammates.
You're certainly strong enough to tear your feet free. Lets see about that attack.
[con:4+1]
Your high powered, rocket propelled ferromagnetic slugs slam into the shield the man has erected around himself and hold there for a moment, drilling in with the force of the rockets behind them. But they don't get through.

Tend to the most wounded.
You leap out of the hole and run over to Anton, prepared to give him medical aid.
[med:4+2]
You stop the bleeding and stitch him shut. Unfortunately you forget to give him pain killers for the procedure and he passes out.

*beep* The medical team you are trying to contact is busy providing surgery to a spaceship. Please clear your area of invincible amp users and we will be with you shortly. *beeeeeep*

(( Faith, you can deal with providing medical aid to the entire crater, right?  :P ))
((I'd like to say no, seeing as I have no medical supplies whatsoever.

On the other hand, providing medical aid is probably going to mean hauling their screaming shells back to the Sword for actual medical attention, so I'm forced to say yes.))

Start moving to make a harder target, try to freeze an exercise ball-sized section of the amp user solid.
[uncon:3+1]
Your attempt can't get through his defenses, but it seems to take him a bit longer to respond then with the attempt to burn him. He may be weakening.

((*FWIEEEEEEEH* *PLOP* *SIZZLE*

Did you see that? That was our chance at getting out of this unscathed flying away and landing in lava.))

Miyamoto scrambled to his feet, his heart pounding at seeing the Amper survived the blast. Damn thing wouldn't go down.
"STACY, IF WE SURVIVE THIS I'LL BE MAKING DAMN SURE YOU NEVER TOUCH A MANIPULATOR AGAIN BY MAKING YOU EAT THE ONE YOU HAVE AND ANY NEW ONE AFTER THAT."

He turned to the others, saw several of them were struggling or impaled by the debris.

"Focus on the Amper first! We'll cart them to the Sword afterwards!"

Miya action: Use manipulator to increase gravity in the Amper's center of mass and crush him. Use laser on him while punching in calculations if possible.

Jim action: If the rebar limits his mobility too much, tear it out or break the pieces that hamper him. Get into a position from where he could dodge Amper's attacks, then use matter amp to do the tear-of-head trick.

((He is floating in the air, you have no jetpack. Good luck with that.))

((I'm starting to fear we'll need Lukas' chestcannon to take that guy down.))
[Jim exo:6+2]
[Miya uncon:1+1+1]

((I laughed when I saw the title.  Oh Stacy, you lovable dancing teamkilling robot, you.))

Lars shook his head, the painkiller fog setting in to his head.  "Algis... praise you.  O Hal'el, I humbly request your aid in healing my leg quickly and easily."

He then tries to free his arm, using the strength of his exoskeleton to move things off it.  "O Ingram, guide my aim so that I may exact vengeance upon those who would hurt Steve's children..."

Get arm free and shoot that amphole.

((I doubt it's a shunt- if so, he should go from unaffected to dead.  He also doesn't physically attack so he doesn't need to release it.

I also enjoyed STEVEN and his Schrodinger-level quantum dodge.))
[str:5+1]

Miyamoto, despite his great synthflesh exterior, can't manage to do anything of note to the psychic foe. Jim...Jim is another matter.

Jim has had a hard life. He's lived through an extended tour of service in the HMRC; and he's managed to keep hold of a few old friends and even made a connection with one of them. And she and he had found themselves a little adoptive child, someone to protect in the harsh world of their brutal reality. And despite their injuries, the loss of their bodies, despite it all, things were looking up. And now, in one moment, all that was gone. Grate was gone. Feyri...Feyri was becoming more and more distant. She wasn't herself anymore. His teammates were dying all around him and soon, it seemed like he would be dead too. Something, somewhere deep inside him snaps.

"I'll KILL YOU, I'll KILL YOU, I'll KILL YOU!"

The dense metal balls he made back on the ship tear themselves free of his bag and slam together in front of him; his four great arms cradling them in mid air as the metal flashes white hot and melts into a single warhammer. A warhammer with a density greater then any natural substance and weighing more the Miyamoto and lukas combined. All four hands grasp it's handle. Synthflesh muscle strains and white blood leaks through the skin as the muscles bulge and tear.  The air around him shimmers and vibrates, his amps playing havoc with reality.

"I'll break you...I'LL BREAK YOU IN HALF!"

The leap is half muscle, half mind, synthetic muscle combined with pure animalistic rage focused through a scientific conduit, sharpened and focused toward a single goal. He leaves a 5 foot deep crater as he jumps, arcing into the air with the hammer over his head, trailing a distorted wake of warping mass and condensed matter. At the top of the arc, he makes contact with the Amp specialist. And he swings; the hammer propelled by every fiber of his body and every remaining modicum of mental power he has left. By the time it reaches the Amp Specialist's shield, it's going over mach two.

The impact releases enough light, heat and force that it's like a crate of grenades going off. The hammer, its impossibly dense molecular structure held together only by Jim's rage, tears itself into it's component atoms. Jim, all four hands blasted and burnt off just below the elbow, falls limply toward the ground. He doesn't make it. Lars bursts free from the rubble in a blaze of rocket exhaust and catches his commander, flying them both back to the ground.

The amp specialist is no where to be seen, reduced to scattered microscopic debris.

((Splat.  Poor Grate.

Is it bad that I am worried about the pill machine?))

Lars lowers Jim back to the ground as best as he can.  "General Jim!  Are you hurt?  Shall I return you to the ship?  Surely all praises are due to Vo-Nos, for his hands have guided yours!"

((Also, nice avatar.))

Attention Amp Hunters, Medical Transport is on the way.
Repeat, Medical Transport and reinforcements inbound, confirm your area is secure prepare your wounded and dead for transport back to the Sword.

Fly over to the crater, land outside the destroyed area and begin triage & transport back to the sword. Continue to be paranoid about LESHO rounds on the way over.

((Wait, come to think of it... what happened to the two ClF3 rounds Xan had before his operation? Are they just lying around where he got shot in the throat, fated to get set off decades later in the middle of a newly constructed primary school as a grim reminder of the HMRC's former campaign here?))

Charles uses his turret to survey the area for possible threats and activates a dynamic bonus.

Xan, despite himself, is cowed. The synthflesh giant had great power in him, perhaps more than he could reach at the time being.
An obstacle.
Even though he wondered why Jim didn't obliterate Stacy, he was happy to leave the thing alone. He needed to recover. Now it was just a matter of eating the dead gu-

@ninjas Kriellya and Xan: It's the best decomp tokens can buy. Still, the situation does warrant Jim fucksnapping hard enough to override it. :P)

Jim looked at his arms, blankly, then at Lars. "..." He lifted his shoulders in a weak shrug, too exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally to say anything. After a moment he pointed his arm stumps at the Sword to indicate he wanted to be taken back there.
