Bishop blinked at the missing half of the room before shaking his head slightly.

"Wow. Kinda overkill there but... Wow, that works, I guess."

Reload and start restraining people's hand behind their backs and feet together (lying them face down on the ground) with whatever I can use for restraints without taking apart anything in the room. Use their clothes if I must and make sure to search each of them for weapons to throw away out the hole in the wall. Check each of them to see if they ARE infact wearing clothes and are not just a UE in disguise. Kill any UE's of course, first distracting them with a punch to the gut or head so I can shoot them. Then drag each one and all the bodies into a far corner of the room and leave them there under the watch of Miyamoto.

Once that's all done, have a look at the consoles and equipment to see what still works and what I could fix. Keep an eye out to see if that wheelchair guy comes back, and if he does, blast him with the rocket rifle.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

((They probably aren't going to let us take them and will destroy them if they can via remote before we can hand them in anyway. And I'd rather remove them from the room completely so they don't have a chance to get them back from us, just in case. Can't be too careful with UE's...))

((They may hold out hope that they can recover them and due to the fact these guys arent sods they may not even have lifelocks which we could probably disable anyway given the chance.))

((How exactly are we going to be able to disable the lifelocks? I've got no tools at all and the lifelocks are probably implants in nature. And if they are UE's, then they would DEFINATELY have lifelocks if the UWM can afford to spend them on things like sods. Just makes sense to me if they have them.))

((Even so, Auron really should help with rounding up the civs in there and helping bishop to get the computers back online before going on a looting spree. Those sods you guys left before we breached that stairwell? Yeah, those are probably making their way up about now, so we need to get into position asap. Once Steve is in control of the command room, I'll let Auron run around a bit to look for lootables. There are bound to be a few more rooms with military gear somewhere around here (like the one Miya destroyed before), so wouldn't he rather look for those later on instead?

Also, you guys can take the weapons and throw them down the stairwell. or down the hole we made when we were getting up here. Out of range for them, retrievable by us later.))

well that was rather impressive if contrary to our mission objectives...

help bishop restrain the UWM personell by drawing my reiterpallasch and machete then guarding tgem as he ties them up, if he identifies an urban executor impal it with great pregudice.
prevent bishop throwing any weapons out the "window" and stash them in a pile near miyamoto.
inspect the equipment to determine what can be salvaged and how to enable the sprinklers.

The black boxes are bolted to the ground and the bolts are too recessed to get at with your fingers. And you don't really want to just rip the boxes out; they might fail before the bolts do. The IR trip wires are easier, you just pop them off the wall like high tech boogers.



Miyamoto sat there, trying to subdue the terrible headache that plagued him. It was like there's a party in his head and everyone is raving!

Great job you guys, great job. I *pant*...I needed that distraction. To bad of the control room, but *pant* that's an acceptable loss. Right.

Bishop, you get in there and... work your magic man. See what you can salvage, try to get those *pant* sprinklers running, be ready to plug in Steve when he's back. 

Auron you help me... restrain those people. Maybe they can help with our objective, if not we tie them up and then set up a perimeter to defend Bishop and this room.

He said looking up, as if addressing whatever deity was watching over them. Seeing as how no fruity cocktails came down from the heavens, he decided to go intimidate those poor people behind the computers. If anything, he put the fear of god right back into some men today.


With that said, Miyamoto strolls up to the control room, declares following:
"Ok now people, there are 2 ways we can do this now, the easy way or the hard way. Seeing as how the easy way just went sailing out of that window there," he said, gesturing toward the hole in the wall,
"I advise you all get on the floor there with your faces down and your hands on your head RIGHT THE FRAK NOW. I've got a skull-splitting headache here and I'm in no mood for games. Anyone who disagrees with this can save me some trouble and throw themselves out that hole there."


Anyone who doesn't comply gets forcefully put into the desired position (don't actually kill anyone though).

Then go lie down for a second.

Your little hadouken there sort of cleared the place out of resistance, so you just lay down to rest.

See if there's a way to scan all radio frequencies. Look for any encrypted broadcasts or anything else of interest.

Also check for any interesting programs the battlesuit may have, like a way to analyze battle data or a way to compute flight paths.

Since there's no one left to do anything with, you start looking around the room. Predictably most of the consoles are broken, but a few are still dimly functioning, throwing up dozens of error messages about "unexpected hardware disconnections" and such.

Kay now Bishop, take as much time as you need with this, I know you can do it. Just make sure you do it right.



If Auron helps Bishop, leave them to their work and go destroy the upper part of the stairs. Don't disturb the black boxes though.

If he doesn't, help Bishop with the computers myself.

Once complete head back to the stairwell and swap gungnir out for my heavy pulsed laser, max the intensity and drop the diffusion to nothing.
Place the barrel of my weapon against the floor next to the first box angling inwards 50-60 degrees and begin firing.
Slowly and carefully trace the outline of the box with my laser barrel.
Once complete pull the box free of the floor and inspect it for damage then drop it in my pack floor chunks and all. 
Change the angle on the next box if necessary and repeat until no boxes are left.


((This shouldnt require a weapon roll as the barrel is placed directly against the target, is this correct?))

((Wait, what? How? I'm not sure I'm following you here.

Are you talking about restraining those people who are all already dead apparently, or about not running off to loot when there are other things to be done?))

Why don't you make yourself useful in the mean time and start making a few barricades out of the rubble? We might need to hold this spot for some time against whatever they throw at us. Try not to fry your brain, ok?"


Clear out the error messages and check the connections to the main system through the working consoles. Try to figure out which one looks like it has the connections we need, and if it's working or not, but make sure not to turn anything on. While looking through the system, keep an eye out for the fire suppression systems and make a note of their location so I can turn them on easily for Auron.
