Explore the police station as well. If I'm too cumbersome, go explore the area A and B did. Go to whatever building hasn't been explored yet.

Go up the new stairs and explore.  Look for weapons, especially, but anything interesting.

Explore the Police Department ruins for anything particularly suspicious. Look for an armory or evidence room in particular.

Team A and B
[Team A Medic - Mesk]

Begin moving towards the prison area.

You wander back to the elevator and stand next to the door that leads to the prison. Or the hallway to the prison, more then likely. These people and their hallways.

Continue examining devastated building, then regroup with Jim.

You look through the building. It's kinda hard to tell what it was used for-you dun blowed it up gud- but you think it might have been a housing area for the less wealthy or important of the government's workers.

You walk down the remaining hall, opening doors as you pass them. Almost all of them are very large living quarters, beds and baths, televisions and computers; it's no where near as extravagant as the Governor's mansion, but it's still very nice. Hell, your quarters back in the labs weren't as nice as this.  You scavenge through desk drawers and under beds, through closets and in medicine cabinets, looking for anything that might be of use.

You find a plethora of datapads but discard most of them after a quick inventory of their contents; banal paperwork mostly, with personal pictures, games and other such things. You do find one with a journal that talks about the "B block crackdowns." The author worries about his Aunt and Cousins, who are living in B block.

((@SerCon: Jim should interrogate Big Guy to determine his level of guilt. He should say something.

And I need Milno's suit breach fixed.))

[Team B Leader=Milno]

"We'll have to check the prison together after you are done checking around here." Milno said to teams C and D. "I'll go check the rubble we caused."

He then turned to the remaining blueshirt.
"Anything you'd like to add? I really doubt you have been drooling due to alcohol since your group took the government district. You seemed awake when you fired at me."

Talk to the Big Guy, do not release him yet.

Spoiler: A-B Teams (click to show/hide)

He shrugs. "I knew we had them locked in the basement, if thats what you mean. And I could guess what would happen when you lock a few good looking young girls down with a gang of men who've been in prison for a long time.  But I was more worried about the Deepers, the mobs and, god help us, the doctors to start a moral civil war in my ranks. Survival was more important. The booze came after we had survived. When I had plenty of time to consider our fate.

As per who killed'em, I don't know. Someone who didn't want them talking, clearly. "

Recuperate.
"Hey Milno. What's new?"
You lay on your back and rest, getting your breath back.

Roll next to Thomas.

You roll a 5! Wait...what?

Go up the new stairs and explore.  Look for weapons, especially, but anything interesting.

While Simus checks the rooms, you check the bodies in search of weapons. Most of the weapons have been damaged by either fire, falling debris or shrapnel, but a few still seem functional.

In all you find 5 pistols and 3 rifles.

Team C and D

Help investigate the police fortress. Grab any weapons or anything interesting. Grab a set of handcuffs as well, or the closest thing to them. Check how much ammo I've got in my Sniper Gauss Rifle and see if there's any ammo available for it, laying around FPS style.

"I'm just going to have a look-see and gather 'evidence'. And weapons and shit. Anyone want anything?"

"Command, we're just about done here, we've just gotta make sure it's safe. Can't be leaving any stuff they might decide to use on us later. Do you want us to start looking at going down to the next level?"
"You still have to clear the Prison itself."

You check your sniper rifle. It's got 2 rounds left. And you don't see any extra ammo just laying around.

(I'll just let you know you probably won't find anything weapon related around here. There was an armory on the second floor with stuff in it. Emphasis on was.)

Explore the police station as well. If I'm too cumbersome, go explore the area A and B did. Go to whatever building hasn't been explored yet.

You wander around whats left of the station, peeking into the doors exposed rooms and halls even though you can't actually fit in them. There doesn't seem to be much of anything left intact in this place, everything is either smashed, on fire or both: desks are in splinters against the wall, smoke is pouring out of doors and halls, and smashed data pads are sprinkled amongst the scattered contents of offices.

Stacy, Team C "Supervisor", Outside Police Department.

"I love it when people surrender. Saves a lot of trouble. Well, better get to looting before the good stuff's gone."

Explore the Police Department ruins for anything particularly suspicious. Look for an armory or evidence room in particular.

The only evidence room that still exists is the cold case evidence storage that all the blueshirts were hiding in; the basement in other words. There was an armory and more recent evidence room, but they seem to have gone away.

Name:Flint - Team C - Fortress of Explodage

"I'm going to leave my exosuit here for a while while I explore the back of the fortress. Steal it and I'm gonna show you how we treat thieves in my home planet."

Get out of my exosuit and explore the back of the police station, looking for people (dead or alive), datapads, weapons and body armor.

You hop out of your exosuit and head into the basement. The basement is fairly small and completely filled with rows of shelves holding boxes of evidence. There have got to be over a hundred boxes here.

Team D - Lukas - PD ruins

Lukas walks over to Faith. "So, boss? On to the prison then? Should we gather all teams?"

Name:Flint - Team C - Cold Case Storage

Hmm... It would be useful to have a datapad from this colony, something I can be sure the UWM isn't watching all the time, something I know is private.

@Teams AB:"Hey, people from the other teams, if you find any datapads, could you bring one to me? Doesn't have to have any info in it, any unlocked datapad will do."

Get back to my exosuit. On the way examine a MKI suit (remove mine if no MKI wearing teammates are around) and see if I can locate where the external viewing camera, microphones and transmitter are.

Team c - Pancaek - outside police station

Enter cold case storage and rummage through some of the cold case evidence boxes, trying to instinctively find that one box that holds goodies. Take anything that looks interesting. Then regroup with the rest of the team.

Go to the APC, ask following to the group we escorted from the police station:

'Where did you people put the weapons you took from the police armory? We will need those back, and you won't have any use for them anyway.'

"Well, there's nothing left here I think. Just rubble and dead bodies. Let's get moving to the prison and clear this level, ok?"

Meet up with the others and chill with them for awhile. Ask how their stuff went.

Team D Leader Faith, Police Station-ish Area

Team D - Lukas - PD ruins

Lukas walks over to Faith. "So, boss? On to the prison then? Should we gather all teams?"
"Uh? Oh, yeah," Faith said, sounding distracted, "Command wanted us all going in together, so we'll need to meet up. Hard to say how long that'll take."

She was silent a moment, looking at Lukas, before continuing.

"...saaaaaay, you wanna help with something morally questionable? I uh..." she lowered her voice before continuing, and switched over to a private conference for good measure. "Kinda want brains. So I was kinda thinking as long as we've got a minute, I might wanna go take care of that, you know?"

"Speaking of which," she said, switching back over to normal comms and normal volume, "Did we have anyone that needed to get back to the ship from that A-B Team firefight? I might have to go back anyway at some point."

Start seeking out corpses with useable grey matter, in the Police district if there's any left but more likely heading over to Governing. Pile them, or just the heads or similar if that's easier, in one location for easier transport, and try to figure out the best way to transport brains for later use- just rip off and carry the heads back?

Also double check assumption that the ship has the extra stasis capacity to carry a bunch of preserved brains or heads or whatever back to the Sword.

Brother Lars perked up.  "I will get a datapad if I see one, friend."

Grab a rifle and all the rifle ammo.  Also grab a datapad for the requestor.  Head back to the elevator to meet up for the Prison raid.

((These are the low-quality civvie rifles, right?  Still want one anyway.))
