((Thrak looted some bling on mission 5 and died shortly after getting back on board.  Just FYI.))
((...the cursed ruby!!!

I'm sure she'll be fine, though. It's not like plague jewelry from a despair-laden graveyard is likely to pick up bad vibes or anything.))

(Ah. ^^^; Well, since I want to rendezvous with Team B before continuing on anyway, I'm just going to proceed with that action unless Command has something else they want us to do.)
((Whew, more loot time.

Also, 504s. Blahhhh.))

(( Possibly including the ones in the hands of that robot platform (that's where some of them were situated, right?), I believe. Though maybe the gloves of that suit are not so transparent as the helmet apparently is, or maybe they could've been satisfied with just the active cameras - that gives us a chance. Well, we'll know soon enough if they have picked anything, as orders/threats/deactivation are very likely to follow. ))

Stacy, Team C Physimancer, Storage Elevator.

Go up to the panel and examine the three wires. What does each of them seem to be used for? Don't touch them, mind you.

"Ooh, wires. I wonder if any of them make stuff explode violently?"

Team C - Feyri Nirel ; Armored Mercenary ; With my team.

Nobody listens to me. I can hear my own darned voice over the comms, and yet nobody even replies at all.

...

I'm just being useless anyway. Again. Curse this blasted mission. Best keep anything or any speculation to myself anyway...

Damn. I am being useless.

Hey everyone,

We've found the Storage Elevator, Miyamoto seems to know how to work it except for one thing. Wires. We're stuck with the enigma of which wire to hack like one of the ancient carjackers of the age when they had no keys.

All clear here however. We've seen bodies, but their cause of death has mostly been normal - starvation from being locked in, as well as the usual concussion wounds seen from above - no cleaved through people though, so w- [DELETE] also, are we all going down now?

Rendezvous in the main elevator?

Just a note. Has anyone tested the air around here?

Inspect the current room I'm in - or the adjacent room if I'm in the Storage Elevator for any...faint trails of where their killers might've come from. Also...if possible and non-threatening to the character, try to sample the air using my suit.

((I really am regretting not knowing the mission beforehand. I could've gotten a DNA sampler, or at least a blood testing kit! :I))

"We don't have any air-testing equipment, as far as I'm aware. Probably wouldn't change much even if we did.

As for the Storage Elevator... uh... I don't think there's any way to know unless you're looking at it, and possibly not even then. I'd tentatively say it's not worth messing around with, seeing as the door's going to be either sealed from the other side also or open to lethal doses of radiation."

Team A
Jim watched the last guy enter the APCs, then returned to the elevators. "Right, team. You heard the man; there may be other people in the entertainment district. Let's conduct another sweep of the area to make sure we got everyone. And Simus? Good work." He patted his fellow 'bot on the shoulder as he passed her.
Thanks, Jim.

Simus puts the data chip-like object the man gave to her away. Then, she examines the pistol.

"By the way, who killed the people in the quarantine housing."
Questoning!
(Too late)
[Team A Medic - Mesk]

"Well, that went better than could be expected."
Follow Jim back to the entertainment district.  If I spot plague corpses, take a closer look, try and determine everything that can be determined about it externally without instruments.
"It sounds like we can't expect a happy reception on the next floor down.  We'll have to be ready for trouble as soon as we hit the down button."

Simus discretely pockets the chip before looking over the Gauss pistol as she and the rest of A team moves to reconnect with Team B. It's a small and simple thing but elegant in  way; chrome plated with a simple pattern etched on the grip. An incomprehensible serial number followed by "ANUBIS-257" is written on the barrel.

Team A moves back into the Main Lane of the Entertainment District and Kyle directs them towards Milno and the Main portion of Team B. Jim and his teammates wander through garbage lined alleys until they finally spot Team A at the fabric shop.

Team B

[Team B Leader=Milno=Entertainment District]

"We are going to investigate the bodies. By that, I mean both of us." Milno states quite nonchalantly, pointing to Lars. "When Team A comes, we can investigate the other side. Freak and Fucker, you can look around this area and guard it, but don't stray too far."

Check the bodies, use the same procedure as in the quarantine housing.

((Thrak looted some bling on mission 5 and died shortly after getting back on board.  Just FYI.))

Lars bowed.  "Yes, my Saint."

Assist Milno with his efforts.

Milno and Lars begin searching through the bodies, opening up the shrouds and examining wounds. Most appear to be bullet wounds, not the execution style wounds of Quarantine but normal, erratic, scattered injuries. Wounds caused by fire on a moving target.

"Must be the looters the were talking about; the ones they had to shoot."

There were a few bodies that have not been shot appear to have been carefully cleaned and wrapped with their hands on their chest. Milno pushes partially rotten lips aside and finds mouths filled with blood.

Team C

Name:Flint/Shrink-wrapped Miner - Team C - Freight Elevator

"It's gonna do it's job I guess. It's not like I'm getting married or anything."
"Hey guys, I just upped my resale value. Ha! Get it? Because I still got my original packaging. Hah. Get it?"

Follow the leader

Stacy, Team C Physimancer, Storage Elevator.

Go up to the panel and examine the three wires. What does each of them seem to be used for? Don't touch them, mind you.

Flint vibrates in place, trying desperately to follow non-movement while Stacy examines the wires sticking out of the floor of the elevator. Frankly, he has no dang idea what the wires might do: There aren't any labels or any sort of clues as to what the heck these things might do.

Feyri, in the mean time, tries to Magnum PI it up,searching for clues to who killed the poor anonymous bastards in the Storage area. Careful examination of bloodsplatter patterns, finger prints, and carelessly discarded bloody pry bars leads her to the concusion that they were killed in the midst of  large scale rioting and that trying to find their exact killer would be difficult to impossible.

Team D
Team D Leader Faith, Farming and Food Production

Jim watched the last guy enter the APCs, then returned to the elevators. "Right, team. You heard the man; there may be other people in the entertainment district. Let's conduct another sweep of the area to make sure we got everyone. And Simus? Good work." He patted his fellow 'bot on the shoulder as he passed her.
"That's all the excuse I need. Entertainment District sounds much more fun than waiting around the elevator."

"I've found noone but messed up, dead bodies. Looks like a war zone out here. If you haven't found anyone or anything in a few minutes, then we should probably move on."

Search the biggest buildings for signs of life closely.
"Pretty sure we sweeped it dry. If there's anyone still alive in here, I'm guessing they're both very good at hiding and trying to avoid us."

Go explore the Entertainment District a bit, see if there's anything worth looting.

In particular, examine the jewelry.

You abandon allow your team to continue their search on their own and head to the entertainment district. You kick open the door of the first jewelery store you see and start browsing. Hmm, there's quite a large selection of rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches and the like.

"I've found noone but messed up, dead bodies. Looks like a war zone out here. If you haven't found anyone or anything in a few minutes, then we should probably move on."

Search the biggest buildings for signs of life closely.

You search the Largest buildings, one that looks like it worked with grain and another that looks like it was solely used for packaging, but find no signs of life. Hmm.

Bishop sighed and straightened upright from looking under a desk, placing his hands on his hips.

"Well, I think we're done here. Looks like theres noone left here that's alive. The poor stupid bastards probably killed each other or starved to death rather than work and repair the fields for producing more food, even if the machines do still work.

Alright everyone, let's head over to the elevator and head down. No point in sticking around..."

Start herding everyone to the elevator after confirming with control that the level has been cleared. If it hasn't been cleared, then ask where we need to check and go there myself.

Team D, Jobasio/Jack

"Erm, Team Leader? I highly doubt it's a good idea for us to be splitting up all over the place."
Jobasio frowned uncertainly as he noticed Faith wandering off, then followed quickly after her, keeping a wary eye out for movement, even in these areas they'd already swept.
'Is she looking for valuables? Really? I'm amazed she can even think of material gain at a time like this, with what we're seeing.' He still felt mildly sickened from the sight of so many mutilated corpses, though he kept it hidden. 'I'll have to get used to it sooner or later, especially if things get worse further on...'

>Follow our glorious leader and lootlootloot escort her over to the elevator we're supposed to take.

>Keep an eye out for any potentially hostile movement, of course.

((Can someone link me to the latest map? Although we'll be changing levels soon, anyway.))

Team D Leader Faith, Looting Entertainment District

Faith let out a happy squee at all the jewelry just lying about. She was momentarily sobered by the reminder that its former owners were all dead, but only momentarily.

The hardest part, of course, was choosing what to take. She wouldn't have objected to just hauling out a giant sack full of everything, but it wasn't like she could sell it- anything she took was basically just going to be a useless if very shiny bauble to wear. She probably wouldn't even be able to wear any of it on missions, and probably wouldn't want to risk it even if she could.

Still, it was hard to say no to a well-made ring carrying a well-cut stone, and she could be forgiven for being a little greedy...

Pick out some fine jewelry. Start with trying to find a gold ring with a large, probably squarish sapphire on it, then one for emerald and ruby, as well as looking for a nice necklace or two; possibly something fairly glittery and large, but something nice-looking but subtler could work too. Then branch out a bit, getting a few pieces that are just too good to leave, and maybe getting unusually nice representatives from other metals or gemstones, especially in ring form.

Once that's done, get back to the elevator with everyone else.
