(I'll use this style of post as long as it makes sense (ie you're all, or at least most of you, are doing similar things))

Team A
(Does anyone know what happened to Objective by the way? He's been idle for quite a while)

(It's cool with me.)

Jim continues to lead them to the APCs. They already liked and/or trusted Simus, so he saw no reason to interact with the people they were escorting. She could handle it.

((New style is nice when dealing with such a large group with similar actions in the teams.))

Let's see, I remember having some before...

Simus starts reaching for a pocket that's not there anymore.

... And I didn't keep them when I got this new suit. I wasn't thinking about it, what with the fact I can't use them anymore. Or they got vaporized. Sorry, man.

Her emoticon face changes to \>-</, and she keeps walking.
(The new style is great.)

[Team A Medic - Mesk]

Mesk looks over at the leader of the group after he's finished checking their injuries.  "Is this everyone that was in ent-dis?"
[Team A: Bruce]
"Sorry, I avoid drugs, their the entire reason I'm in here."
Stay at back, keep an eye out.

The last of the straggling crowd of survivors passes by and Team A falls in line behind them, seeing them to the APC's just in case. Mesk, who had till now been giving those who passed him cursory glances, checking for any obvious injuries and finding none, or at least none not already bandaged and tended to, slows his pace till the unofficial leader of the survivors catches up with him.

"This everyone?"

"Should be." The man says observing his flock with tired eyes, "Anyone still alive that is."  He looks over at mesk, "You may find a few in their homes, starved or otherwise. We didn't keep track very well" He's silent for a moment. "You learn not to ask where people have gone after a while."

The slow line of survivors makes it to the central elevator and the APC's without issue. They squint and cover their eyes, shading them from lights much brighter then they've seen in a long while. The begin loading, piling into the available APC's and waiting as the elevator rises and then lowers with a fresh and empty batch. There are many of them, but they pile in like sardines, eager to leave, and so the exodus proceeds quickly. The leader of the survivors pauses has he steps into the APC along with the last of his flock.

"You're going down after this, aren't you?"

The team nods unanimously.

"Be careful. What you see here is nothing compared to what will be down there. We were locked off before it happened. Sickness and desperation bred madness down there."

He waves Simus forward, holding his gun towards her, grip first. She takes hold of it and he steps forward unexpectedly, pushing his other hand up to her open palm and shoving something into it. It feels like a data chip. He closes her hands around the chip and the handle of the gun at the same time and squeezes them tightly.

"Weapons like these," He says, staring directly into her mechanical eyes, "Are best kept concealed from prying eyes."

He steps back, hand open and smiling. "After all, a little gauss pistol like that isn't very powerful. Best to keep as a side arm; I won't be needing it any more."  He keeps his smile as the doors of the APC close and the elevator rumbles upward.

Team B
((New style works very well.

[Team B Leader=Milno=Entertainment District]

"Let's check the alleys. Kyle, stay in the main lane to provide cover and warn us of any trouble heading your way or ours since your cyborg body is resilient and you have a manipulator. The rest of the team, with me."

Start to check the alleys, starting with the right side.

Spoiler: A-B Teams (click to show/hide)

((New style works very well for this great big team-based mission.  Firefights or small missions might do better with the other, but it makes this particular mission a hell of a lot more readable.))

Follow Milno.

[Team B Albino = May]

Follow Milno, check hallways. Act like a spy.

((I'm with everyone else.))
[Team B Sniper: Thomas: Entertainment]
Check the alleys. Try and make sure nothing sneaks up on us.

((Yeah, the new style is fine.))

[Team B "Medic" - Kyle]

"Alright, I'll stand guard."

Walk around main street, looking for any sign of trouble.

Kyle stays behind, patrolling up and down the main lane while the rest of the team begins examining the right alley's and the street beyond it The alleys themselves are just thin passages between the buildings, transforming into cramped tunnels as they bore into solid rock before emerging back onto the North Lane. They explore both the North lane and the Alleys at the same time, checking buildings and Alley's as they pass them. Besides a thick coating of garbage the Alleyways seem clean; the same can be said about most of the buildings on the North Lane. It's much the same story as the ones on the main lane, with two major exceptions. Amongst the scattered homes there are bodies, most laying in bed and, to a degree, decayed; men and women who died alone in their homes. Few, if any, have any signs of sickness on them; one man has blood on his teeth but that is all. They are all sallow and thin, looking mummified despite their rotting flesh.

The second exception is that of a fabric store on the far end of the lane. Inside that store, neatly arranged and laid out in purposeful rows, wrapped in white cloth, are dozens of bodies.

Team C
((New style is great, makes the whole thing much more like a story. That's how
I always viewed this thing anyway: PW is the storyteller and we are it's characters.))

Check if the panel is repairable, or if at least it could be used to operate the lift somewhat. Make sure no-one is standing on the elevator while doing so.

((By the way, I've been thinking for a good name for my suit. Right now, I think I'm gonna call it Gilgamesh. Anyone got any other suggestions?))
((Well, if we are to think in that vein, I would suggest naming it after king Arthur or your favourite knight of his. In the sense of wishing the suit to be endowed with the virtue that particular person embodies, I mean. ))
((Brave Sir Robin!))

((This made me giggle way too much. Probably because my actual name is Robin, and I do love a funny coincidence.

And thanks for the suggestions people, but I think I'll stay with Gilgamesh. Always liked both the name and the story behind it. Now I just need to find my Enkidu, and I'm set.))
(I'd vote for Mr.Roboto)
Stacy, Team C Physimancer, Near Storage Elevator.

"Anybody got the know-how to fix this here panel? I'd rather not melt through this door just yet, considering that there might be all kinds of crazy things up there."

Wait for one of the people to fix the panel. If they can't and Miyamoto doesn't bash in the door, melt Standard Entrance Hole (circular, three foot radius) in the door.

((I like the new style. The lack of "You keep following so-and-so" posts really helps to concentrate on the whole situation.))
((I love it. Helps organization. Loads.))

Team C - Feyri Nirel ; Armored Mercenary ; Water Production

"Alright, no sign of any aftereffects of disease. All normal biological symptoms of response to any wound. They've kept their latrine sanitary...So I'm really guessing starvation. There are no superficial wounds.

"What's your find, team? Hows the elevator? Shall we head down now?"

Spoiler: Team C (click to show/hide)
((This is Parisbre56 and I too support the new style.))

Name:Flint/Bloody Miner - Team C - Trade storage

"Hey guys, if you see a mining exosuit covered with packaging materials don't shoot, it'll probably be me."

Take some of the scattered materials and wrap them around my exosuit, so that others can know it is me should we come upon any other miners. Try to make a funny hat.

"whelp, you better get working there chompers, you're good with with elctricy-stuff, right? That or me and the lass'll burn right through this metal piece of crap"

Stand aside to let Miyamoto fix the elevator, If it doesn't work, help Stacy burn the hole with my amp

(the door to the elevator is open, it's the panel that controls the elevator that is smashed)

Miyamoto thuds heavily onto the elevator and bends down to examine the panel while most of the team waits outside.
[miyamoto aux:6+1]
Miyamoto reaches down and tears the entire smashed panel and housing out of the floor of the elevator and peers into the resulting hole. It looks to him like he could control the elevator by running current through the right wire...but he's not really sure which wire is the right one...Hmm, Green, red or Blue...

In the mean time Flint decides to get creative and try to strap some debris to himself, if only to differentiate himself from any other suited men they may encounter.
[flint handi:4-1]
He manages to tie a few lumps of brightly colored plastic to himself using some of the left over shrink wrap laying around, but can't manage to make anything very fancy looking.

Team D
((Yeah, really like the new style.))

Team D Leader Faith, Farming and Food Production, Buildings

"Well, Farming and Food Production looks like an abandoned looted massacre. How's everything else going?"

Examine buildings more thoroughly. If there's nothing left to examine, just return to the elevator region.

You wander the buildings, looking for anything that you missed. The only real thing you see is that it's obvious that the machines and equipment in the factory areas were not used or even touch in the midst of the looting; any damage was incidental. Clearly whoever was looting these places wasn't thinking about longterm survival, they were just looking for food for the moment. Myopic at best.

Jobasio tore his gaze from the dead scattered across the floor and went over to the nearest section of machinery.
"So... Shall we see if any of this works, then?" He mumbled, more to the gauss rifle cradled in his arms than anyone else, and reached for the controls.

>Press buttons to determine if any of the nearest machinery is still functional, also to take my mind off the harrowing sight of all those corpses. Scan the surroundings for any signs of life within the wreckage, there could be people hiding within the buildings, perhaps.
((New version is alright I guess. I am just generally terrified by change, so ignore me. :P))
You press one of the buttons that seem to control the machinery at random and much to your surprise- and the surprise of everyone around you, it lurches to life with a terrifying hum. You hold up your hand apologetically as Faith and the rest of the team stare at you, clearly not happy about your decision to break the tension by having a machine scream in their goddamn ear. You turn the machine off and concentrate on looking around for survivors. You don't find anyone, no matter how many dark corners and storerooms you check in.

"It's as good a reason as any when you're starving and scared of dying a horrible death from something you can't see. I'm going to check this place for anyone still alive. Don't kill anyone that's still breathing, especially us, ok?"

Search the whole room for people who are still alive, or for signs of where they might have gone or hidden. Then check the buildings for the same things.

You fly above the fields, looking for signs of life. You check a few bodies; one laying in a drainage ditch, another who looked like he was sitting against a wall but was really just a corpse trying to hold in his own dried and rotting innards from a terrible stomach wound, but can find no one alive. Your search of the Buildings, another quick fly over, yields nothing either.

((New style is great))

Team B - Lukas - Food production

"Slaughter houses? That can't be good."

Lukas satisfies his curiosity by checking out one of the slaughterhouses.

The slaughter house, well, a slaughter house. It's a large metal building build around a rather grim conveyor belt that shuttles recently living animals around an automated butchery process, separating meat and bone and offal and packaging it all separately. Every thing is strangely clean though; there's not a bit of meat left in the place.

Sambo - Team D - Food Storage - by Faith.

((Yeah, with four teams, the new style is great. Thanks piecewise for putting it all back together that cohesively. I just read through a hell of a lot of posts, and it made it all make sense. Sort of, but that's normal. Cheers. ))

Wake up out of body-guard "attempt to look menacing with a laser rifle" mode, de-auto actions, and try and look around to see if there's any food-stuffs left.

"I hope these poor buggers weren't just rioting for a bit of food. I'll take a look around and see if the stupid pricks were starving, or just shooting each other for the hell of it."

You wander around the buildings and find plenty of empty packaging, either torn open or unused, but no food. There's no a speck of nourishment anywhere you look.

Team D Leader Faith, Farming and Food Production

"Well, that's it for Team D's rooms; nothing left. Apparently they murdered everyone in a blind frenzy to get some food, then I guess tried to take it out on their Oxygen supply.

Anything interesting anywhere else?"

Return to elevator area, await further orders.

Check the bodies, use the same procedure as in the quarantine housing.

I believe Jim may have misunderstood what the man said.  Namely
Quote
"This everyone?"

"Should be." The man says observing his flock with tired eyes, "Anyone still alive that is."  He looks over at mesk, "You may find a few in their homes, starved or otherwise. We didn't keep track very well" He's silent for a moment. "You learn not to ask where people have gone after a while."

Combine that with  Team b's
Quote

Amongst the scattered homes there are bodies, most laying in bed and, to a degree, decayed; men and women who died alone in their homes. Few, if any, have any signs of sickness on them; one man has blood on his teeth but that is all. They are all sallow and thin, looking mummified despite their rotting flesh.

And I hope it becomes a bit more obvious what he meant.
