"I will obey your command," Brother Lars said with a bow.

See if I can figure out how many people there are in there.

Jobasio made his way slowly through the door, gauss rifle braced against his shoulder as he swept the room.
"More victims. Could be anything hidden amongst all this machinery, though."

>Sweep the room carefully, check amongst the machines and storage tanks along the walls.

>Also examine the equipment itself for damage etcetera.

Team C - Feyri Nirel ; Armored Mercenary ; Door to Water Production

"Alright, you people do that, I'll cover you." Feyri said to her team.

Provide cover fire, scope out that pile of bodies for details and especially that moving one and listen for any other movements.

Step forward, away from the group.

We have been sent in to escort out the remaining civilian personnel from this installation so that the Peacekeepers can come in and find what happened without issue.

You walk out away from the group, hands raised, repeating yourself as you walk down the street.

"Stop right there!" A voice shouts and a moment later someone walks out from a storefront to the right, carrying some sort of hand gun. It's hard to see much of him in the bad light, but he looks like hell: emaciated, pale, sunken eyes, bright clothing dulled from wear. He keeps the gun at his side as he talks but grips it nervously, squeezing the handle and tapping it against his leg.

"Sorry about the theatrics. We don't have a good relationship with authority figures around here."

Team D Leader Faith, Oxygen Production

"Hello?" she called out into the room, not really expecting an answer. "If there's anyone in here, we've been sent to come rescue you."

Enter room, examine bodies. Try to determine cause of death.
You move into the room to check things out after your yelling doesn't work.  There are 5 bodies, all in green overalls, all laying peacefully, save for one. The cause of death is fairly obvious for the four peaceful ones: A single shot to the heart with a smaller caliber weapon. The fifth man is different, splayed out where he fell. He has two injuries to the head, a bullet graze to the scalp-he flinched at the last second- and a straight shot to the temple. The fifth is holding a gauss pistol in one hand and some paper in the other.

[Team B Leader=Milno]

Milno almost burst out laughing when they said they got them covered. It was a bit funny in a way, but they were civilians and he couldn't blame them for being paranoid after what had probably happened during the time they had been locked in the underground casket that had once the place they called their home.

"Command, Team B leader here. Would you dish out shocks to specific team members if I ask for it? I think some of my groupmates may need some shocking to save them from worse."

Wait for diplomacy, ask Command.

Spoiler: A-B Teams (click to show/hide)
"Such things are for our decision, not your own. If they are truly a problem, just shoot them."

You wait as Simus tries to diplomacy.

[Team A Medic - Mesk]

Make no sudden moves, try to remain inconspicuous and hopefully behind somebody more expendable.
To team: "You think they have wounded or sick with them, whoever they are?  What do you think'll happen if I try negotiating with the promise of medical help?"
You hide behind May who is hiding behind Thomas.
[Team B Sniper:Thomas]
Wait for a response from the people inside.

"I'd think so. But, we should probably wait for the others to speak."
You wait for Simus to either give the all clear or to go down in a hail of bullets.

Jim merely waited calmly.
You wait, feeling better, less of a burning in your "head". You hope you won't have to bring that searing headache back by toasting civies.

Stacy, Team C Physimancer, Water Production.

"Would the people still alive and non-hostile on the ground please raise their hands? Your reward will be a delivery to relative safety courtesy of the rescue team!"

Yell this to people in room after Miyamoto plays his little number. Cautiously approach and investigate! Not too close, though!
You shout your warning at the room before walking in, cautiously. The one moving body keeps moving, but barely; his hands are empty and he's laying on his back, hands weakly groping at nothing.

“Don't worry Milno, I have my anger under control”
[Private channel to Team A]
“Can i shoot him first, if they go bad?” [end transmission]
Get ready for a sneak attack from them.
You get ready to attack, if needed.

Name:Flint/Bloody Miner - Team C - Water production, outer door

"Well, that means there's not much I can do. Guess you get to play with your calculator thingy after all, Stacy."

Examine the hole. Can I see anything behind the door? Examine the chisel. Is it some sort of giant jackhammer? Does it need to reload or does it "fire" automatically? Stand back and let my teammates work.

"I can't understand you if you're both yelling!"
((I imagine the teams all together, guns pointing and everybody shouting, something like this.))
The hole looks to be an inch or two deep. As per the Chisel, it looks as though it's activated by touch, sort of. When the tip strikes something the pneumatic parts activate and jam the tip forward. It seems to reset itself as well.

"I will obey your command," Brother Lars said with a bow.

See if I can figure out how many people there are in there.

((I totally missed Simus going forward.  D'oh.))
It's fairly impossible to guess how many people are out there. You don't see any movement in the buildings and You've only heard one voice.

"I got you covered. Watch where you step lukas, we don't need you stepping on someone by accident."

Cover Faith and stay near her.
You stick near Faith as she examines the bodies, looking around the room as she works. There are several large crates of food and water, almost untouched, nearby and not much else.

Team C - Feyri Nirel ; Armored Mercenary ; Door to Water Production

"Alright, you people do that, I'll cover you." Feyri said to her team.

Provide cover fire, scope out that pile of bodies for details and especially that moving one and listen for any other movements.

The man moving doesn't look like a treat, hell he looks barely concious, just groping at nothing. You can't tell from a distance but his hands and arms look very skinny.

"Forgive my stupidity."

Approach the dying man with shield raised, inquire if he can tell us as to what happened here, request anyone nearby to give a medical check-up/diagnosis...

Stacy, Team C Physimancer, Water Production.

"Well, the fellow on the ground is definitely alive. Let's take a look at him, shall we?"

Examine what his problem is. Is he injured in any obvious way? What's his problem? Does he have the plague? Could I conceivably help him in any way? Use limited medical expertise to do this. Don't actually touch him or otherwise physically influence him, though!

Lars bowed his head in prayer.  "May the light of Steve watch over us all.  Algis, shield us all from harm so we may complete this mission!"

Pray over the group.

Well, we're here to extract you survivors so that what happened to the colony can be found out by the regulars. All we know is something about a plague, and that there's a bunch of dead people upstairs, some executed, some gunned down. Now, there should be some APCs coming down after us to facilitate getting you out.

As for the rocky relationship with authorities, some of us no doubt have had similar. It's no issue, we're not exactly authorities, just having to work for them.

Be diplomatic.

"Yeah, these guys are toast. I'm going to check the machinery, don't break or shoot anything guys."

Go check the state of the machinery. Is it all working properly? Is anything damaged? Is there anything of interest or something that's out of place?

[Team B Leader=Milno]

Milno flares his comms to tell the team about the good news, and even more to a specific person.

"Command just told me I should shoot the troublemakers since they won't shock said people. That goes for all of you, but more specifically, to you. Control your trigger finger or I won't control mine." he says, nodding towards Bruce.

Keep waiting for the results of diplomacy.

"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Cover Feyri as she works. If they aren't hostile, carefully pick up any survivors and carry them to the APC's. Give mining laser to Pancaek, if necessary for easy carrying.

'Feyri, if anyone of 'em is still alive, I'll carry them back to the APC. Be careful when you check them though.'
