Faith facepalmed, being a bit more careful than she would be out of her exoskeleton.

"God damn it, just what we needed. Well, how we getting this open? I guess I have a cutting torch if we don't have anything better. Not to be confused with bigger, since I'm guessing those mining lasers will nail whatever's on the other side also."

Try digging fingers into welded seam, see if the suit's strong enough to get a grip.

To the rest of Teams A and B: Hang on, a door needs opening for Team D, I'm going to see if I can help.

Faith, I've got some plastic explosives, I might be able to blow the door.

"Either someone welded this shut from the inside and had their companions paint that for good measure, or whoever did this finished it off from the outside - trapping whatever was dangerous back inside. Now we can narrow down the list of suspects to beings of humanoid nature, judging by how this was sealed.

"That said, this thing if probably metallic seeing as it's welded shut. If only we brought explosives to open this thing."

Examine how the welding was done as well as the composition of the door

Wait until Faith is done trying to pull the welded doors apart, then use my cutting torch to slice along the weld and open the door.

"You said that to Faith. It looks like all these doors are barred with the welding anyway, so I'm just hoping we can knock ours down with Miyamoto's power."

"That... might be excessive, Simus. I hope it is, anyway; if these things can resist a cutting torch it's going to be hell getting through this place."

"They used civilain tools to weld them shut, I hardly see how a cutting torch won't work."

"They might be too thick. I wouldn't think so just for these, but it wouldn't surprise me on the radiation doors."

"I've a feeling Jim is going to heat up the door...Can't anyone with those thermodynamic amps do it?

"Also, did anyone detect colonists with any sort of PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment) in case of...anything? Hazmat suits? At least anything resembling specific clothing in times of danger?

"And we could just bust down the wall if the door won't work. If it's barricaded from the inside, that is."
