"Damn it. And it sounds like the Wyrm is coming back for a second pass.
We need to figure out a way to get him back to ship before he rots, as well as getting us out of here without being trampled. And let me see if there's anything to be done for that."
Remember how long it'll take Charro to be unrevivable, and how far we are from the entrance to this place. Examine camera in detail, trying to determine if it can still record anything at all.
5 hours till he's just so much fertilizer. And it took you two days to get this far. Oh dear.
You look at the camera. The entire front of the camera is smashed and the lens is practically powdered. Yeah, thats not gonna work.
"Simus and other cripples left behind, I'm going to head out and explore what happened to the elevator. On the way I'll explore the numerous buildings between here and there, so I'll probably be out for quite a while"
Travis starts down the stone path. He explores the buildings on the way, trying to determine their function.
You peek into one of the nearest building and look around. The rooms here have the same rounded edges as the towers, but their walls and floors are dotted with raised edifices rather then sunken ones; horizontal shelves with a slight backwards tilt to stop things from rolling, great cubes and rectangles of stone forming tables or chairs, you can't say which. Thin tablets are scattered on surfaces, black metal chisels and instruments of unknown use squat on shelves and atop half finished tablets.
You walk a little further in and find a small room with a deep alcove in the center of the floor. In this alcove is a large puddle of black fluid. The fluid is rising and falling with the cycle of the sound from the citadel, getting a little higher each time, a little more solid.
Requiescat in pace, Charro Hootzal.
I... see. Your will be done.
With a sunken and uncharacteristically distant look on his face, Maurice lowered his faceplate. We still have about five hours before his remains finally expire; possibly a bit longer due to the cold atmosphere here and near the Fall (and the puncture of his suit). Maybe I'll be able to delay it even more.
[private channel to Milno] Just - in your professional opinion, can we - you - get Charro's remains back to the shuttle in time?
Think of a way to extend the amount of time before Charro is unrevivable.
[med:3+1]
If you chop off his head, expose his brain to the cold and proceed to sprint back to the elevator, rig the elevator to rise several times faster then it lowered you, and then sprint all the way back to the ship then maybe MAYBE he might make it. God damn it you're two days of walking away and you don't have anywhere near the supplies you'd need to adhoc cryo his brain....If only milno could fly.
"Fffffor crying out loud! Let's just grab everyone and everything and get out of here. We don't have the firepower or speed to handle that thing."
Get back on my one-and-a-half feet somehow, and hobble back to the entrance. Be ready to jump aside if that thing comes for another round.
"FFFFFFUCK THIS."
You start off back toward the citadel, running as best as a man with only an foot and a half can. You reach the outer wall of citadel 1 and start making your way around to the entrance.

"He's gonna spoil like ham unless you find a way to make his expiration date longer."
Get the camera, stay out of the Wyrm's path and keep moving towards the main building. Put the G-ammo on the medium-range gauss and pocket the magazine with standard gauss rounds.
"He wasn't very smart, I'm actually surprised he made so far."
"I got some ammo that may work on the Wyrm at medium ranges, but the problem is that shooting it may end up as a worse disaster for the remaining team members. We don't know how this place works. Try to stay out of the path."
You grab the camera from Faith, switch out your ammo and charge for the main building, leaving the other members of the team in the dust. You run until you come across something different: A wall of black razor tree metal. The entire thing is vibrating at such a high frequency that it seems to be blurry, like a photograph with a wall smeared by motion.
Faith, Maurice and May feel the vibrations of the Wyrm's movement grind ever closer, a shaking, deafening wall of force baring down on them.
