Head up to the top and circle the top of the wall, providing that it's wide enough to not be a danger of falling off.

((Where did the other slightly-less than a half of my lanterns go? I do believe we used up Milno's, and half of mine getting here, but I don't think I've used any since.

Unless I swapped me and Milno in the above sentence.))

((My understanding is that the rope would be attached to something on the outside or top of the wall, which wouldn't be visible from the inside of the Citadel.

Thanks for the explanation. So, the ramp ends at the top of the wall, which means Travis can walk on top and do a complete circle? If so:))

Travis walks onto the top of the wall and does a complete circle, keeping an eye on the outside portion of the wall for Rope 1
(Maybe, maybe not)

You do a complete rotation of the building, walking carefully along the  edge and looking down. You don't see the rope, but you do see two more walk ways, one directly above the one you used to get in, the other on the other side of the building.

Observe surroundings.
You appear to be standing on a ramp outside of a room. Inside the room your teammates are sort of slowly walking in circles. Productive.

Faith stared a moment at Charro. Welp.

Search side rooms, dragging Charro with me. Verbally, since I've only got one hand. Try to figure out if they've got any noticeable purpose or interesting qualities.
You drag Charro along behind you as you start looking through each room along the path, inspecting them one at a time for anything interesting.
[int:2] Hmm you can't think of the purpose of this place.

As you search the rooms you do come across something interesting, not in the rooms themselves but on the edge of the ramp. There is what appears to be a bloodstain on the corner, as though something fell and impacted here before rolling off.

Head up to the top and circle the top of the wall, providing that it's wide enough to not be a danger of falling off.

((Where did the other slightly-less than a half of my lanterns go? I do believe we used up Milno's, and half of mine getting here, but I don't think I've used any since.

Well, you each only have 4-5 lanterns, so you had like 2 and I was under the impression travis had one. So you have an extra left.

You walk up toward the top of the citadel. It seems like it will take a bit to get there.

((I believe the two ropes we used to haul people up are still with Milno, by the way.))

"Loner, search around and explore. If you find anything strange or that you may think it is either strange, dangerous or important in any way, then don't mess with it for now, call us."

Move to the top of the ramp.

(We'll assume you have the ropes, yeah.)
You follow Simus, all the while wishing you could fly again.

"Hey team, found something interesting and potentially dangerous. Found two more walkways. One directly above Walkway 1 and another on the opposite side of the citadel from Walkway 1. I have dubbed them Walkway 2 and Walkway 3 respectively. I could use a climbing rope to continue exploration. My location is near Walkway 2, on top of the wall"

Travis examines Walkway 2 (the one above Walkway 1). How far down is it from the top of the wall?

"Damn it," Faith said quietly. "I hope this isn't the other brother."

Assess location of the ramp corner. Where could something have fallen from, and where would it have rolled to?

Did you say something, Faith? Also, I believe you've checked that part of this floor, right? Have you find anything worth of our interest?
Leaving the side-room, return to the exploration of the big 'squarish' room and its alcoves; go straight to the part Faith hasn't apparently explored yet, or just check every room if I'm unsure.

Double-time it to the top. Put that never-tiring synthetic muscle to use!
You start sprinting toward the top and manage to reach it after a few minutes of hard running. Travis is standing near by, looking down off the outer edge.

You lay down on top of the wall and hang your arm and your glowstick down as far as  they'll reach. The walkway beneath you looks to be maybe 25 feet down, on the edge of your visibility. [intuition:3+1] Hmm, This walk way is significantly higher up then the first one. Maybe there are other ones between the two.

"I got ropes and I'm on my way, loner. Stand your ground."

Move to the place Travis is.
You run after Simus and reach the top of the structure, out of breath. Travis is laying down, looking over the edge at something and Simus is looking down at him. You bend down a bit and brace yourself on your knees, catching your breath. Why do alien structures always have to be so damn big.

"Damn it," Faith said quietly. "I hope this isn't the other brother."

Assess location of the ramp corner. Where could something have fallen from, and where would it have rolled to?
You take a look at the blood stain. It's on the edge of the ramp, above the fall down toward the floor of the building. You look up, even though you can't see anything up in the darkness, and then back at the blood. Something could have fallen from above, the higher section of this ramp as it completed another rotation around the building, and struck here as it fell. And if it was falling, the only place it would end up is at the bottom.

(( Gah, there goes initative on the lead, as well as the whole lead thing :P ))
Did you say something, Faith? Also, I believe you've checked that part of this floor, right? Have you find anything worth of our interest?
Leaving the side-room, return to the exploration of the big 'squarish' room and its alcoves; go straight to the part Faith hasn't apparently explored yet, or just check every room if I'm unsure.
I don't think you quite understand this. I explained how this is set up in a earlier post
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

but there are no "Side rooms" or "big squarish rooms" It's like the tower; It's a cylinder with ramps spiraling up the inside along the walls and these ramps allow you to access rooms that are cut into the walls themselves. Each room is a sort or rounded square like thing with alcoves all over the walls and floor. Each room is pretty much identical though the arrangement of alcoves changes.

Does that make sense? When I told Faith that there were rooms to the side of the ramp I meant that there were literally rooms that were only on one side of the ramp because the other side is nothing but a sheer drop.

Those people that are still down inside the building as opposed to a top it notice something rather odd. The constant sound of rushing sand is getting quieter, seemingly farther away.

Simus looks over at Milno.

Hard run up?

Glancing back over at Travis:

"Bloodstain, from the looks of it. We'll have to go down to see if it fell, not that we didn't have to anyway.

Also, the sound is receding? I guess whatever it is has passed?"

Ascend ramp, searching for about where I think the thing would have fallen from to hit at that spot. See if there's anything unusual. Bring Charro, of course.

Charro was getting a bit tired of this place. 'This certainly isn't much of an adventure,' he thought to himself, sweeping the camera back and forth as he trudged along with Faith, 'But then again, the last mission I went on was rather more traumatic. This makes a good change of pace, I suppose.'
So he shoved those thoughts aside and focused on the task at hand. "So... I wonder what these 'aliens' ate, when they lived here. If they ate."
Something occured to him and he raised his eyebrows behind his faceplate. "Faith... What do you think alien food would taste like?"

>Retroactively grab the camera after that rope-pulling thing.
>Follow along, filming Faith's backside the rooms we pass along the way.
>Ponder possible alien cuisine.

"Define 'alien,'" Faith replied, seeming distracted. "If you mean in here, I have absolutely no idea. Don't know what anything's made of, much less what it eats."

Suddenly, she halted in mid-stride.

"...wait just a minute here. I knew something was strange with that!

Guys, Lighteater. He looked like he was on fire, right? But fire doesn't work here. Meaning what exactly? Just that it was a different type of fire that does work, or that it just superficially resembled fire, or that it's based on something that does know how fire works, or what?

I mean, isn't this like something in our world having bioluminescent parts whose light worked like in here? And I don't like how little Lighteater cared for us, honestly. Surely he couldn't have been accustomed to weird aliens like us, even if we probably do look a bit more like we belong here than normal 'cause of the suits."

She resumed walking, muttering to herself.
