Jim decided to head to House 3 and check around there, motioning for his allies to follow.

"Let's check it out, bros!"

Break and enter.

[will:5]
You're about to break down the door when you feel like a hot needle has been jammed into your non-existent skull. It's there for an instant and then it's gone.

To house 27!
You shake off your brush with death and wander to house 27. Guess what? It's locked.

Jim decided to head to House 3 and check around there, motioning for his allies to follow.
You head to house 3 and find the door open and bloody footprints leading out of it.

Follow Jim yet again.
You wander after Jim.

Follow Thrak, Maurice and Renen.
You follow the remains of your team and give Thrak a suspicious look as he twitches for a second. Hmm.

Thrak switches to all-channel.

"Bros!  House 8!  I think he tried to fuck with me when I tried to get in!  Let's torch it and flush him out!"

Attempt to set fire to the house with the shock glove.

"Surround it!"

"Bloody footprints. Will wonders never cease. Yeah, probably a waste of time, but let's look inside anyway." Jim headed in to loot the place, assuming anything was left worth taking, and looked for his usual list: jewelry, medieval weaponry, and small electronics and such that he could probably sell for tokens.

Mesk hang back as Jim enters the house.  "Are you sure you don't want to just torch this one?"

"Hm, looks like this is worth investigating. Someone check for a back door or such, I'll keep an eye on the front exit.

Keep watch on house 8 from outside.

Break down the door, attack occupants.
[str:2]
You put a gash in the door but don't do any real damage.

Clearly they should have fought the Altered with fucking doors!

Thrak switches to all-channel.

"Bros!  House 8!  I think he tried to fuck with me when I tried to get in!  Let's torch it and flush him out!"

Attempt to set fire to the house with the shock glove.

"Surround it!"
[uncon:1]
You raise your glove and turn to Renen.

"Now stand back, this is pretty-" Is about as far as you get before you accidentally send a bolt of electricity directly into his head. "...dangerous."

[renen end:1]

Renen goes down in a heap, completely unconscious.

You follow the bloody footprints up stairs and find the pile of bodies and the message the killer left for Travis, but nothing of value or interest.

"Hm, looks like this is worth investigating. Someone check for a back door or such, I'll keep an eye on the front exit.

Keep watch on house 8 from outside.
You bravely and helpfully stand around and do nothing.

Milno stares at the display of stupidity and clumsiness...Or hostile intent, Thrak may be under control already as far as he knows.
"Well, I'll check if the killer isn't around here or watching us from other building."

Quickly ascend in an erratic flight and try to find where the killer is by vision.
