Milno:
Jump onto that platform and drag Faith with me, but only if it is safe (a.k.a only if I don't need a roll for that)
You give faith a none-too-gentle shove onto the slowly ascending platform. She falls backward onto it and you hop on yourself. She shoots you a dirty look, or what you assume is one behind the face plate, and you shrug before offering her a hand up.
(((No +1 to my intuition then?)))
Feyri:
"Oh I just hope this won't crush us on the ceiling, for I will be fairly disappointed. Isn't that right? Jim?"
Examine cube. Examine pedestal. Examine ceiling.
>>Eh, I was rolling to see if either of you got it, and since he got it perfectly, figured it wasn't worth worrying about. Pardon my sloth.
You look at the floating cube. It looks exactly the same as before, only a few inches higher now. You look at the platform (Thats what I'm assuming you meant, since the cube doesn't have a pedestal). It's a hexagonal piece of metal, about 5 meters long and maybe a few inches thick. It has no distinguishing characteristics, other than the fact that it is flying. Lastly you glance up at the ceiling. The ceiling is flat here, as opposed to the strange slanting configuration in the main halls and about 15 meters high. Other then that it's the same featureless, dull metal that everything is made of. There don't seem to be any openings for this platform to move through.
Continue to push cube up. Push down if it looks like we will get crushed.
You try to push the cube up and when that fails, you try to push it down; this fails as well. You try to move it left, right, forward, backward, diagonal and in every other way you can conceive of. No amount of struggling, shoving, or impotent smacking seems to budge the hovering block.
The platform is now about 10 meters up.
