((Ops, I'm holding the turn.))
"No way I'm staying to watch the firecrackers."
Milno turns around, making sure not to stare at the blinding light, and fires his rocket pods.
Fly low and away from the explosion at the maximum speed without risking losing flight stability (100 mph). After finding a good boulder/ditch far from the place, hide behind/inside it.
If possible without taking too much of a risk, drag Faith and Lukas half the way towards the safe spot and throw them somewhere moderately safe, like on top of Cog.
You wave goodbye to cog as your rockets kick on, spraying clouds of sand out from beneath you and pushing you slowly into the air. They cut for a second and you hang there silently, hovering on the remaining upward force while the rockets reposition themselves. With a roar they reactivate and you're gone, skimming the surface of the lake and leaving a growing wake of frothing white waves just behind. You follow the water upstream, away from the dam, for several minutes. You keep a count of the seconds in your head. 3 minutes 20 seconds, 21, 22,23. At 4minutes and 45 seconds you veer to the shore and skid to a landing, the maneuvering pods on your suit firing intermittently as your heels dig into the sand. The landing ends with you directly beside a large bounder. You take the last 15 seconds or so to leisurely walk behind the rock and lean against it.
Rocketpacks are awesome.

Sky mode
((Boom.))
Action for Empyrea: Keep hiding and wait for the explosion. Keep eyes away from the big shiny ball of death.
You close your eyes, cover your head and generally try to make yourself a small target, burying your faceplate in the mud. You survived a hot drop just to get blow up when a miniature sun goes supernova? You call foul. You always figured you'd die in a blaze of glory, beating people with a large stick or shooting tanks with other tanks.

((I meant get into an area in the wall that is hollow for purposes of wiring or such, as they may have to be, or just because of decay/shoddy construction))
There's not a lot of metal in the walls...least not metal you can wrap yourself in. It's an office building after all, mostly metal skeleton with some cheap drywall like walls where there's wiring. Are you sure you'd still like to do that?
If you've got perhaps final words to say or cigs to smoke, nows the time.
