What is the current mission? And who are you?

To investigate ... this.

Xan gestures to the surroundings.

My name was Xan when I was human.

The human name is irrelevant. What is your name now?

Haven't picked. Names are tied to characteristics, to permanent things about you that the name will fuse you with. My only permanent characteristic is that I have no permanent characteristic. Therefore I need no name.

No permanent characteristic? I'll just call you Bezliki-san then.

((Bezliki is Russian for faceless. Well, according to Google Translate anyway.))

(( Bezliki? Hm, good word. And Xan has exactly one fixed characteristic. If you squish the ball of brain matter, he dies, and whatever's left behind eats you. :P ))

(( Yeah, I thought of that. I get the feeling your initial tries will not end well for you. :P
Will depend on PW and your rolls, of course. He could decide to make those attempts really painful for you. I'm betting he won't let you have clones just for gameplay purposes. Though I suppose it would be piles and piles of *unarmed* clones, since you can't replicate your amp. ))

((Yeah. I don't plan to try for some time, but I know I can create independent brains as seen with the Xanling. In fact some of my plots hinge on that ability.))

(( Indeed, but much like the Xanling, I expect that your creations will not exactly cooperate with you by default. In fact, depending on how PW feels about whatever you're trying to do, even a 5 might not be enough. A 5 might bring whatever you want into existence perfectly, but the first thing it will try and do is break your control, requiring more rolls. Heck, if PW *really* wants to discourage you, he could make it a constant effect, where you have to constantly fight your larger creations to maintain control.

I look forward to watching. Through a telescope on the moon. Cause I honestly expect one of your creations to kill you long before any of your plans come to fruition :P ))

((Or Miyamoto could try directly using his amps to move the thing. Probably easier than crafting an appropriate tool. Never know with anomalies though.))

Follow Gorat. Poke the golden rebar with my pickax. Pick it up if it seems relatively safe.

((Yeah, was planning on giving that pole to the full robot since he seemed not terribly affected, but that plan is out the window now he's not feeling well.))

Try to use the manip to lift the object in the middle of the anomaly and hover it closer. Do it slowly and carefully, and stop after a few meters (in case the zone of nausea is centered around the object).

((Sorry, still no time for in-depth invasion preparing. If anyone really wants certain questions answered though, post it OOC and I'll copypaste it into Miya asking it IC.))
