this mod looks really cool and i want to play it.upon embark 6 of my 7 dwarfs caught rotavirus in the first season then i ran out of food cause they couldnt do anything. bad luck ?

Will you experiment with:
      new tag WOOD_MAT
      new tag INVERTED_TILE
      new tag FURNITURE
what Toady just added.

I wonder, is it possible to make like.. lets say gas mask or even power armor helmet? and if your vault dwellers are wearing it, it would make them immune/more resistance against viruses and some other airborne spread diseases? Not sure if that is possible since i have no idea how syndromes etc works in df ^^
I feel that such a thing cannot be done.

Could make a toy called 'gas mask', which is used as a reagent in a workshop in an interaction called 'don gasmask', which gives them a syndrome that makes them immune or resistant to disease, 'wearing a gas mask'?
You could still make a gas mask clothing item, because gas masks are cool. :3
Though, having a clothing item and toy named gas mask might get things confusing.

Man.... need..... P.A..... updated.....

In fact i can very well wait no problem, its just my way to say im eagerly waiting for update and you are doing a great work. I even ditched masterwork df after just ONE try of this mod.... Dont take me wrong i like masterwork but this mod has a different, how should i say it mood? athmosphere?

Sure it has. One is fantasy, the other Fallout. I have never done a TC, my base is still Dwarf Fortress. Deon does not have to do all that much for the update though, the 34.08 is rather... tame... when it comes to save compatibility and raw changes. The only lengthy thing are the inorganic densities, the rest is barely worth mentioning.

EDIT:@deon: Respect, just downloaded the graphical version and the sprites are really impressive. Well done.

- Merged with the new release.
- Added plants and trees for good areas by MrHappyface.
- Fixed tiles for beekeepers, glazers, shearers, pressers and spinners.
- New tiles for wheelbarrows and minecarts.
- Fine-looking track tiles.

No i mean i prefer this one over masterwork, not the same athmosphere, dont take me wrong i really like masterwork, its much more complex and more choice, this one is just more brim, dark, like the setting, how you have to find metals etc.

Edit: Nearly forgot the bigguest selling point, claptrap seriously, the damn happydancingmouthnevershut is in, what can i say? I HAVE to stick around him... he is just badass :D

don't choose one mod for the other just mash both together. or that what I'm going to do "MasterWasteland: warhammer meets warhammer 40k meets Urist Hawk proCarter"

Masterwork works well because you select what you want and trim the rest. Post-Apocalypse works well because it's already custom tailored to a theme that works just fine. You rarely feel like something is lacking.
