deon working on making Xenomorphs into a fort mode playable race. though to fully play as them I guess you need to activate Embark to get random people coming to the fort for Facehuggin.

Is there a way to have "Good" rains, like the rains that happen in Evil Biomes, only different?
Yeah, would be cool to have a "Fresh Breeze" and a "Salty Zephyr" and a "Fruity Gust" and an "Amazing Whirlwind" that uplift people's spirits.

The "reactions at virology lab" might be the "investigate barrels of blood" stuff, nope it isn't.

That's why it was fixed :D. Don't confuse me, haha. I will check your version and see what can I borrow.

Does anyone know the best place to embark for radioactive rain? Is it common in ALL Savage areas? Like would Joyous Wilds be as likely to have it as something terrifying? I haven't had much luck getting any area with it. I've gotten a few radioactive clouds in a savage mountain biome though.
Any savage biome has it, but it's rare (because it's quite crippling).

Mr. Gutsy and any robot which shoots plasma is likeley to start a fire sooner later when they shoot. also cause rnadom cleaning jobs on the surface. ill stop using them for now.
They no longer try to clean plasma, I've fixed it in the latest version.

Here's the good plant raws. Done.

Worm Spheres: Looks like a ball of leeches writhing together. You can cook it, or pluck it apart for more sphere worms to eat. May cause vomiting due to its horrendous taste.

Blood Boil: Looks like a clutch of blood red tennis balls filled with thick brown fluid. You can eat it raw, brew it, or make it into a syrup. Tastes like vinegar and is a hallucogenic.

Floss Clump: Looks a piece of cotton candy. You can brew it into a sweet drink, yet causes blistering. Oh, and you can weave it into cloth.

Dark Shard: Looks like spiky shards of black glass with a liquid core. You can crush it into high quality dye, or extract the oil into a deadly poison.

Pipe Growth: Think of a lead pipe sculpture that's somehow organic.

Spine Pillar: Think an upright spinal column poking out of the dirt.

Cage Vine: A vine that creates a thick, cage like structure close to ground.

Muscle Tendril: A giant tentacle coming out of the ground

PS: Can you add more fanciful creatures? Uncle Sam, Communists, the original Vault Dweller, etc.

I'm thinking of carving out a vault and smoothing it so it can be reclaimed, was thinking of doing the two level entrance from the vaults in fallout 3, but I'm not sure what else to add/how to design it. I think it would make a good community fort with secrete goals that the vault use to have (infect everyone with F.E.V ect).

Any ideas on the design?

Please leave me a short PM about what you did. I personally changed liquid to soild glob and vice versa and it did seem to work, but I am more then interested in your fix.

Hey Deon, any idea on how to best take care of a (flu) epidemic when all of the children in the fortress are hanging around in the dining hall getting everyone sick? It's amusing but I'm wondering if there were something I could spread or do to take care of it. It's a syndrome, so once they already have it I can't just hose them all down right?

Good idea. Since they're children it might be hard to do it to all of them separately, but if they all have time to grow up I'll have enough time to work it out. Or I'll find some FUN way to handle it.

Those vault maps was very much the style I've been making my forts lately with this mod. I find it rather appropriate.

When a vault gets dense enough, I'll start including "elevators" (up/down staircases) to gain access to deeper levels unless the vault was more vertically built. Sorta merging the classic Fallout 1 style with Fallout 3's.

Hmm no more job cancellation spam from plasma, but they still seem to collect some plasma now and then in food stockpile.

this might also fix the plasma globs not evaporating if what I read from Toady's ramblings means what I think it means
