Windmill not working?!

Hi guys!

I did it 100 times before, but i cannot get my windmill to work.
It produces 0 output.
It is outside!
Dont get it.

There is not any sort of guaranty that you are in a windy spot - some embark sites have no wind, hence no wind power. The only way to find out is to build a windmill and see how much power you get out of the thing. You can get 0, 20 or 40 Urists of power.

The first three forts I tried windmills on were all 0, I guess you've been luckier than I was, at least until now  :P

Are you on multiple biomes? I'm not sure, but it's possible a different biome has wind.
Otherwise, you'll have to find a spot to set up waterwheels.
