Toady is putting in a bunch more stuff about vision in the new release. Hopefully that will at least make Weeping Angels closer to possible.

We'll see. Maybe I will have them as cavern creatures, while the Vashta Narada have a chance of spawning upon mining petrified wood. I think they'd make more sense as a syndrome, after all.

Does the game not recognize which way your character is facing? I'm pretty sure it does that in combat. Could it be programmed so that when your character is not facing the weeping angels, the angels can attack?

I'm pretty sure the new release will.

And I'm pretty sure I've never heard of new release having special attack conditions.

If anyone's been playing this mod, I'd like some feedback before I add more features. See if anything is broken or horrible. How are the Daleks? How are the Cybermen? Are they showing up in both modes? How do Dwarven defenses fare against them?

This might be another stupid question, but where do I actually place the raws for the plasma?  I placed them in inorganic metal, with the dalekanium, when I tried that, it only delivered blunt damage.  I placed the plasma raws in inorganic other, instead, that didn't work either.

The plasma raws are in the inorganic file with the Dalekanium in the download, so moving them to another .txt file is unnecessary. As of right now, there's no way to make material emission globs do edged damage, so blunt it is. I'm not sure if beams should be edged anyway. It's set to have immense density and velocity, so it still does a ton of damage when it hits the right places. Stuckins are quite lethal.

This looks wonderful, as I've just finished marathon-ing every series of Doctor Who (not the specials, though).

Praise him.

Yep. It wasn't really a marathon, as I did have to keep myself alive and fulfill commitments, but that's bound to crop up with a series as long as this - it's not like you can watch the whole thing in a day.

In case you're wondering, my favourite Doctor is the Eleventh - shocking, I know, but I like him.

I like all of them. Except the Sixth. Don't watch the Sixth Doctor.

August 2014, please get here soon!
Anyway, as I haven't got around to actually playing the mod, how tough are Cybermen, on average? It's just, I hear about lone Daleks slaughtering hordes of our cute little barbarians, but nothing on the canned meat. I'm not talking about Cyber Leaders, mind you, just the average cyberman/-dwarf/-elf compared to their non-cyber counterpart. And how strong are the cyber-slaves?

All cybermen are basically identical, though the cyber-leaders have an arm-mounted surgical drill. I think the slaves lack the plating layer, and just have the polymer skin, but I don't remember clearly. Being "reanimated", according to the game, the slaves go on the zombie hitpoint system so can be pretty flimsy. Cyber leaders can reactivate downed cybermen and cyberslaves, though, so if they do that a cyberslave is no longer on the hitpoint system.

They can bleed out, but feel no pain or fear. They've got steel plating over their whole bodies, and their limbs have steel rods instead of bones. They've got naturally incredible strength. I haven't had the chance to encounter them in fort mode, but in adventure mode and arena mode they're quite durable.
