I want to download this and see just how !!FUN!! it would be, but I'm wondering how I am supposed to extract it. Do I just extract it to my raw folder, or do I have to copy/paste everything in seperate txt and folders?

Download page has instructions.

You can just extract the txt files into your raw folders. If you want cybermen, open up the cybermen folder in the rar file and extract the contents to your raw folder.
There are also the dalek sprites for Stonesense.

  Question about cybermen

do they change just the human race of do they change all races? (the dwarves, goblins, elves, ect)

and how about other modded in races like the fortress defense races?

For the record, as it has already been asked many times, weeping angels are currently not possible.
It's just the unfortunate truth.

No, I've already made SCP-173. It's totally possible.

The object cannot move while within a direct line of sight. Line of sight must not be broken at any time with SCP-173. Personnel assigned to enter container are instructed to alert one another before blinking. Object is reported to attack by snapping the neck at the base of the skull, or by strangulation. In the event of an attack, personnel are to observe Class 4 hazardous object containment procedures.]

Since dwarf fortress currently does not track which way people are looking, giving people 360 degree vision, I don't think it would be very feasible.

Also, have you tested it? It's just not possible to make the interaction in a non-broken way. The creature could be underpowered (constantly frozen when in range of creature.) or the massive speed could let it kill before the petrification has a chance to set in. Once it wore off the creature could move and kill, even while technically being seen. It might strike before the victim has a chance to "look" again.

The main problem, though, is that while in stone form, Angels would either be smashed while helpless (making the defense mechanism pointless), or if the stone was sufficiently indestructible, anyone fighting them would keep uselessly attacking them until they starved.

It has 8 frames with which to do its damage and creatures can dodge every attack even when it's not their turn. I'd say it's fair.

The primary problem, indeed, is the inability to make people not attack creatures once they're good and sufficiently harmless.

I remember hearing that if you set a creatures speed high enough, they will do a sort of "Blink"  movement, moving about 5 or so tiles ahead, maybe that would work?  I'll try to go find it...

Edit:  The speed is 1,000,000.  Also, I meant it will move forward quickly, stop, forward, stop, so on.  I suppose this movement could simulate blinking

Creatures with [SPEED:0] or [SPEED:1] will not move in short bursts. They just move like everyone else, only way faster. It's just that if you pause the game and advance by one step with ".", they move each time (no delay).

Figured out how to make daleks croak quickly.  Heat.  Aka lava.  Had some find their way under a lava mega weapon.  They die very easily to heat.

Yay! Seems like the only thing they are vulnerable too is dwarven duct tape!

BTW, anyone managed to try candy weapons on them yet?
