Forge has some ability to resolve ID conflicts on its own now.

Well, I know 1.6.4 doesn't support server-side texture packs. Not sure that that helps.

That being said, it took me, uh, two hours to work through?

That's the usual amount of time, it takes me to find and configure mods to run nicely together.

I like Faithful 32x32, personally. I can't say it's particularly dark, though.

Wayukian 16x is my personal favorite, and it just got updated for the new version too. Might not cover all the TFC textures, but it looks good.

Ah, good old TFC.

There aren't many compatible texturepacks right now, BlockHeads is actually updated and realistick-ish (i.e. not light, can't really judge whether it's dark) 32x pack.

I've noticed that one of the texturepack on the TFC forums is made, but is fucked up somehow that makes it fail to show up.

Wayukian 16x is my personal favorite, and it just got updated for the new version too. Might not cover all the TFC textures, but it looks good.

It won't work with TFC. TFC uses custom dirt, stone, trees, leaves, items... well, pretty much custom everything, total overhaul plus a completely changed terrain generation (equator and poles, DF-style rock generation and types). So, you'd need to make TFC-specific textures, and last time I checked Wayukian didn't have them (although people recently started to work on making Wayukian TFC-compatible).

You don't need to use MCPatcher ever since 1.6.1. Also, make sure you have Forge.

I used the patcher to update the texture packs, so they'd show for me to activate.

I use forge.

I'll see if I can "unpatch" the profile. If not, I'll have to reinstall TerraFirmaCraft all over again.

Edit: Had to install it all again, but I feexed eet.

When was the last time you played it? Because if it was a while ago, try consuming booze. Fun ensues.

Oh. Well, then it's going to be a bit of a shock. It's much more hardcore now. Fun, though, and when I play Minecraft (which I didn't for a while, got burned out), I play TFC.

I probably would even host a server, but like I said, I don't really play myself and I'm not sure if my internet would handle it.
