It's from a mod called carpenter's slope, IIRC.

Scout: Check what version of Mystcraft you have. There's a new block called the inkwell that does stuff that I'm not sure about in new versions.

Well the cave gen mod was never updated to 1.4.5 or 1.5+, that site is crap; they just repost the old files so they get hits from people who don't know any better. Still if it DOES work I'll be amazed. Let me know how it goes. :)

Yeah, I suggest getting all mods from either the Minecraft Forums, PlanetMinecraft of any website the modmaker has. Most of the other ones are unlikely to be very legit.

And running a mod is no different from running a program you downloaded from elsewhere. All sorts of malicious stuff could be embedded. At least be sure of the source.
