I've got 4GB (64-bit) of it, but yeah.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

That sounds great, so where and when would we expect such a server to be up?
Dibs on the beekeeping gig!

edit: Also, would it be Ultimate or light?
It will be Ultimate and it will be up in approximately 30 minutes.

Woah so soon?
Better keep an eye on the OP of your thread then.

Edit: By the way? Is it still April 1st where you are?

Putting up a ready-made server is possibly the simplest thing to do in minecraft. :P

The longest part of this process is transferring the files to my server hardware.

Edit: Its coming up now at muse.dyndns.tv:25565

I did a random seed, normal difficulty, no whitelist.

Wow, you are fast as hell. I was typing up a lengthy post about how it might be a good idea for each of us to drop some money to get a server from a hosting company :D

Hmm. Might join you guys. Been a while since I did multiplayer minecraft and I don't think my friend is running his server anymore (and that was vanilla anyway).

Could I suggest not using gregtech later, forsaken? As far as I've seen it just seems to make things take forever to build compared to without it.

I could disable gregtech if you guys would like that.

I've no problem accepting donations, though I'd have to work out a donation button or something. :P

Yeah, that is sort of the point of it. I really like Gregtech, it gives me a good sense of achievement once I get the mining laser for instance. If you just want the basic functionality of the macerator for cheap, there is the pulverizer from Thermal Expansion, which works great :)

EDIT: forsaken: Yeah, I like to not let people sit on their costs.

I agree with you tbh. And disabling gregtech would require everyone who wants to join to download the FTB pack and then manually remove gregtech afterwards.

I'll set large biomes though.

You can also configure Gregtech to not mess with the IC2 recipes (which I prefer, since, really, there is no good reason to make a watermill hard to make.)

That leaves all the Gregtech stuff in for those who want to use it but lets those who don't want to deal with it just stick to easier mods.

It's under the usefullrecipes heading in the file.

Once again, that would require people to modify their client before they could connect though. The point of using FTB at all is that its simple and ready-made. I'll just be hosting FTB ultimate for now.

Sounds good. I'd be okay with helping people out with overcoming Gregtech, like letting them use my machine setup, should I get there first. I don't know whether I'll do a lot of IC2 stuff at the start though.
