P.S.: If anyone is interested in magic-based mods, check out the Ars Magica mod.  Based on the pen-and-paper RPG, it founds the foundations that Thaumcraft used, as well as has permission from the copyright owners of Ars Magica to use their system. Really cool spells and toys and special effects.  I added it in today.  8)

I looked at it a while ago, but it wasn't in 1.4.6. Did it update?

So just add in the Core and Digital modules... you get the wiring and logic blocks and microblocks, no machines or anything else.
Some logic need world, though, right? Light Sensors are the only ones that jump to mind (needing the blue-doped wafers).

True, you can't make blue doped wafers. Their primary purpose is to make solar panels though. Everything else should work fine.

And now I've just added Harken Scythe mod and Necromancy mod. Will add mo creatures as well if I can get it working right, might add a few other decorative mods like fancy fences.

Its only at normal difficulty but its pretty intense. The dark mages and infernal mobs (mobs with random diablo-style enhancements like bulwark and teleporting, etc) make it pretty difficult. No real rules, you can PVP or just cooperate, whatever you like. I'm trying out the mods and started building a nice little wizard tower.

In the FTB launcher you can filter mods by client/server. Normally it's set to client, but if you change that you'll find a server version of the DW20 mod pack.

Do I need a special download to run the server?

Yeah. Go to the FTB site and click download and you can download the DW20 server file

Hokay, folks, I'm looking for difficulty. I like playing CTM maps, but vanilla gameplay is just too easy. Any mods out there that add tougher mobs? Special Mobs comes to mind, but it's not updated yet.

Anything else out there?

Well, he did ask for harder mobs.

Note though that you can easily exclude specific mobs from the infernal mobs system in the config, so if you turn the divinerpg mobs off they won't become infernalized

I just played the FTB modpack. After spending almost a month non-stop, I found myself becoming bored with the game (as I did with vanilla). While walking through a wasteland biome, I thought "Hey, this looks exactly like a post-apocalyptic biome. Wait a minute...". And here I am, wondering if there's a good, extensive apocalypse mod/modpack out there. I know it won't be as large as FTB, but something that gives the game a realistic 'end of the world' feel would be most appreciated.
