I can't figure out how to get raw/smooth stone, putting rocks together on the workbench or into a forge, firepit or bloomery does nothig.
I need some to make a metalurgy table.

In TerraFirmaCraft, right? You only get raw stone by mining stone directly from the ground; Remove all adjacent (up/down/north/south/east/west) blocks touching a stone block, and it will drop a raw stone.

btw I compiled Buildcraft 3.1.8.0 for minecraft 1.4.2. Anyone want? Seems to work ok so far. Using it with forge 6.0.1.355

Keep in mind that I am offering this as-is. I just duplicated the repository and compiled it, I take no responsibility for it eating your system/maps/programs/etc or simply not working. You SHOULD be able to drop it into /mods once you install forge. As I said I'm using forge 6.0.1.355 and its working fine for me.

Try the Greenstone Wire Mod.

   So I just found this nifty mod indirectly from Direwolf's Server Lets Play because one of the people on it mentioned that they used it. Its a mod that overlays a number on each block that shows the light level from any light source. Mind you this doesn't include sunlight but then again I am fine with that because thats gone at night anyway.
