The difference between IC2+RP2+mystcraft OP and EE OP is that in the first case you feel like a super-advanced alien invader, wich makes you feel godly and awesome and badass. AFAIK, the second one makes you feel like youre a boring god sitting back while random shit happens.

Indeed. While Mystcraft may allow you to mine minerals from alternate universes, you're still doing the mining. You have to set up a quarry or use your drill or pick or whatever. It takes infrastructure and effort.

With EE you can just automate it and have a free diamond factory then burn the diamonds down into whatever metal you need.

I'm thinking of starting playing this again minus EE too. I just can't resist not using it and end up getting bored as soon as I gain enough EMC. Shame really but it just seems too op.

Some of the mods are included in an installer MoM compiled, but we added 3 more afterwards. If you're interested I'll send you the info.

In that case you'll probably want to install the other buildcraft version. The one I have installed is buildcraft 2.x which is SMP ready. 3.x is singleplayer only but has many more features.

A friend of mine is looking for a decent Tekkit server with as much enabled as possible; He loves his EE2. He's leaving his first server because the whole place is going to shit, ops stabbing each other in the back, total drama, op griefers etc. I've been asked for advice but don't know where to point him. Anyone know of a decent server?

Sadly I don't think there is any Tekkit server with EE2 enabled that isn't private and yet good.

What does the slot in the electrical engine do? I know one is for batteries to catch excess energy, but what is the middle one for?
