You know what you must do.
You must install Treecapitator, go to the base of the world, and CUT IT DOWN.

Not sure if it'll work, if it doesn't have leaves. But yeah, do that.

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. The Axe of the Stream is somewhat more reliable, but it still doesn't understand when it should work sometimes. The only downside is having to repair after each use.

Toss it in an alchemy bag with a talisman of repair and pull out your spare axe of the stream!

Tried the modpack download for Feed the Beast on their IRC channel. I Followed what it told me to do, and then this happened:

Did you read the readme? It looks like you don't have all of the stuff copied to the jar that you need.

I copied pasta'd all the stuff in the jar section though. I'll try it again in case I missed something obvious.

Ok, I started FTB, and now I'm on a 5 block island with only 2 gravel, a Sapling, a Bonemeal, a Radio (Which I very cleverly stole from spawn), a Mushroom, a Watersource, a Chest, and finally a Philosopher's stone and I need to get to the huge Black thing in the distance. Help would be appricated.

You go to the different places and see what you need for them. When you've made them you throw them in the 3x3 area in front of the chair in the middle of the pyramid and go back to the section for that item and a chest should appear with stuff in for you.
