Is ID resolver essential to that blockfix thing?
Not if you like manually editing config files and keeping track of used block IDs, no.

I don't seem to have that problem myself. I have used the Faithful texture pack since go with it so I will check something that I might have done.

Edit: No clue on my end. Changing textures works for me so it might be a mod your trying to use.
Did you get the forge patch? Because I am getting it now, let's see if it fixes that :).

No I did not do anything with patches or what have you. It could be the order which you installed it though.

It's either HD patcher conflict or something else :(.

P.S. And "fixed" version gives me "java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 33945" about Thaumcraft. This 33945 is not even in the config. AAARGH.

Well that could be the problem. I use optifine myself so I don't need the patcher.

Weird, cleaning my mods and installing them inthe EXACT order fixed it. That's how weird Minecraft modding works sometimes :). Something probably was out of place. The strange fact is that I am not the only one complaining at texture pack switching, so there is SOME problem which rarely comes up.

Subtract 4096 from that and ctrl+f it in the thaumcraft config files.

EDIT:
If you play with both Mystcraft and EE, then try to stabilize an age after getting the destruction catalyst and the flying ring, it turns into "Family Dentistry: The Game"
Seriously, stabilizing an age consists of finding all the kid's tooth decay by watching the surface, drilling blasting a hole down to it, vibrating blasting it out, then filling in the hole at the surface to make sure you got it all.

Oh man.  Mystcraft makes Thaumcraft playable.  I just wound up in a cave world...SO MANY CHESTS, so terrifying to explore because I only had like ten torches, and there was no damn light at all.  Hell I didn't know there even was a sky until after half an hour I decided to dig up and see what happened.

But, the sheer amount of loot you find is wonderful...and a lot of these books have ridiculous numbers of wisps.  Sadly, there are no silverwood trees nor crystals in myst books.

No idea what version you've been playing. I have over 20 of each crystal from around an hour of strip mining a stable age at ~20 and under, and I saw dozens of silverwood trees that one time I brought a stack of books and feathers but forgot to make a linking book back home. Unfortunately I haven't been able to play in cave worlds due to crippling lag, possibly related to my reluctance to use optifine and deal with the off-putting texture bugs.

Hmm... what I'd like is a thaumcraft texture pack that changes the taint into something like terraria's hallow, purely for the sake of it.
Seems like the taint should be corruption and the hallow should be the result of too much Vis.
