I don't think watching me fumble around with about 8 blocks of render distance and 8 FPS would make for a good demonstration :P

In the original series, when he needed gravel, he didnt notice a outside patch next to his house, found some on a faraway mountain, mined it with A PICKAXE, got caught by the night and set up a little house.

But he's a great commentator, i recommend checking out his channel.

Speaking of original Minecraft LPers, this is the video that got me into Minecraft way back in Alpha whatever-it-was (my first major updated was the pumpkin/nether update)
