Perhaps we need another thread for "most wanted easy fixes"???
It may hard to decide what is hard to fix. Maybe DF code is example of spaghetti code and fixing clay bug requires rewriting half of the game?
BTW, according to the devlog this bug is fixed.

The worst bug for me now is that the linux version does not work on Kubuntu 12.04 64bit (edit - solved, works now with ia32-libs installed on a 64bit Kubuntu).

The entire content consists of senseless murder, a pile of faceless naked women and zero regard for human life in general, all in the service of the protagonist's base impulses. It is clearly a cry for help from a neglected, self absorbed and disempowered juvenile badly in need of affectionate guidance. What a sad, sad display.

Although from a few posts in the release thread and my own experience, the bucket bug seems to have got a lot worse in this version.

In a fat-fingered moment while setting up another military squad I accidentally created a captain of the guard rather than a militia captain.  His squad of near-legendary hammerdwarves equipped with high quality silver hammers then took it upon themselves to dispense justice to all the mandate breakers in the fortress.  It was quite messy.

new bugs were added though,

There will definitely be some pretty nasty bugs from this new update.

OK, I have to reload the save.
There was a bit of a problem regarding flashfreezing, a ballistae, and a barrel of dwarven ale. Gonna fix it up.

Yep, der be bugs around here sumwher.  My game crashed for no discernible reason about a month after migrants came.  I didn't save beforehand because I wasn't expecting it.

It rather applies to dwarf mode where you are unable to control your army in any useful way.

2922, I remind you again, is Not a Bug.
may I ask how it is not a bug?

I mean, that limit is there to put a limit on the population, and in my forts, that limit is ignored, big time. (limit of 20 dwarves, had about 90 at one point in my fort >.>)

Yeah, killing off every immigrant gets old after a while.

I read a thread that seems to indicate that bug #5232 (stagnant rivers) is, in fact, not fixed.

http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=109523.msg3287170#msg3287170

It seems that the creeping stagnation remains, but what Toady did was make it so that if you pump water over stagnant water, it turns fresh, which lets you counteract creeping stagnation if you keep a pump running.  However, the original cause of the problem still exists.
