You attempt to perform a 'haters gonna hate' walk down the aisle, and look cool while doing it. Unfortunately, you run into a problem, namely a giant mob of angry dogs. That said, spinning violently around the Z-axis is still a thing! And so you do it!

...When you finally stop spinning and look, you killed all the dogs. Rather stupid creatures, they are. Or rather, were. The caverns are safe to mine, for now at least.

You find one crystal in particular that seems to act as an omni-directional lens, focusing light that goes through it. It's kind of cool! Maybe it could be used for something?

Metal Elementals do not handle acid very well. At all. As in, not able to even get close to them.

While it is possible, that would have required stealing the mechanic's shop.
And ye cannot Get ye Mechanic's Shop! It is bolted to a cavern wall!

But there seems to be a lack of Vix(en) around, regardless.
